i have seen this movie a couple of times and have always loved it. alan alda is one of my favorite actors he can play all parts in any movie and i truely in joy it. i what to get the mash servies. any body would like this movie, the scences span so many years and the pull at your heart strings at times. do enjoy it.

finally found this movie
i loved this movie the first time i saw it and the second, third etc. however seeing it on tv is not the same as seeing it uncut in it's entirety. good dialogue, not fancy but time tested. just a good movie. walmart has the ability to find the most obscure movies and music for me.

Strong language
My brother had reminded me of this movie that we saw together in 1978. I wanted to see again and I laughed and cried. Great acting, however this movie has some very strong language along with many sexual references. I think it should have received a PG 13 rating. If you watch, please note that it is adult only film.
