Little discovery

Francis November 19, 2025

We're seriously head over heels for this meal idea! It's an absolute lifesaver on those super busy evenings when you need something delicious on the table without spending ages in the kitchen. And honestly, it's incredibly budget-friendly too, which is always a huge plus! Our absolute go-to way to enjoy it is piled high with a generous serving of perfectly cooked spaghetti, all smothered in a rich, comforting tomato sauce. It's such a classic combination and always a guaranteed hit with everyone.

Good for the money highly recommend

Tee February 27, 2026

Great taste. Lots in the bag. I put it in my skillet with a little bit of water and garlic and when they were done, I squeezed the lemon over top superb if you like seafood I recommend these. Has a good taste and you can eat the whole bag and not even realize that you did.

Tender, Delicious, Versatile!

Mary October 17, 2025

I just love mussels. They have such a delicate flavor reminiscent of the sea. They're the star of a wide variety of recipes, from traditional to Korean to Mediterranean in my experience. These come pre-cooked so all you need to do is thaw and incorporate in your favorite. Plus, they're so reasonably priced!

Great to stuff with cheese and bake. Fresh!

fixitgirl February 3, 2026

Tastes fresh and I use for two things: decoration in other seafood dishes and nó frequently to stuff with cheese and bake. Delicious! Thaw in fridge, remove top shell, fill bottom shell with a mix of cream cheese and lemon juice., cover with a piece of mozzarella and bake on a cookie sheet or shallow pan at 350 degrees until done. Just like you find in some Chinese restaurants.

Dog food

Anonymous May 5, 2026

We buy these for our dogs. Walmart is the only store I've found muscles at. We're glad they have them. We put these in homemade food or else we need kelp powder. I like to use these over the kelp so it's more food for the pups. The meat part inside the shell is small. So it doesn't amount to much once they're all out. But I have nothing to compare it to as this is the only brand I've ever purchased/found. So maybe that's just how it is. Some of the shells are very hard to open. All the ones that were cracked open, I could get out easily. But the ones that are closed I needed help. My husband opened those and ended up cutting his thumb on the shell. I do not like seafood so I've never tasted these. But they contain nutrients that are good for the pups and they scarf their homemade food up. This item does stink pretty bad. But then again, all seafood smells horrible to me.

When I opened the bag to use it for my soup, one of the twin bag had Bad Smell, so I threw it out to Dumpster instead of getting sick eating them. I've had the bad case of Diarrhea with shell fish before. When I report this to Walmart, just in case there were others, Walmart asked to return it for refund??!!! I wrote them that I through them out. Also, the missing pack of erasers (49 cents tax) It is Mission Impossible to return missing item(s) or things thrown out to Dumpster. No wonder Walmart is getting sued. Where's my $1000 gift card thats been in Advertisements??

Low quality- cracked shells, beards, and dead

Nikki November 15, 2025

The low quality for this product shocked me. Enough mussels still had beards on them that I ended up having to pick through the batch to pull off beards and found more after cooking that I had to pull out. On top of that, almost half the batch either stayed fully closed or barely opened after cooking for more than enough time, and of the remaining batch at least a third had cracked shells. Save your time and money on this one. The ones you can eat are Ok, but only after spending more time than it's worth sifting through the rest.

There's better options

anonymous August 2, 2025

For about half of the bag the shells weren't opened so I didn't use those, what a waste. There was also broken shell pieces in the bag, so I questioned the mussels that were “open”. I recommend a different brand or was it the same brand but a different style? I don't know but it's the mussels in a garlic butter sauce that Walmart also has and when I got those the mussels were all open and no cracked shells.

Horrible

Blue November 7, 2025

At this point, y'all need to hire people who actually goes through the food to see if the food is serable like at this point, y'all having people shop for us, but they're just getting whatever off the shelves and out of the freezer not checking for anything. This very sad
