I have not yet put my grass fed Black Angus hamburger 🍔 meat, together with my Sweet Hawaiian Onion Buns! However it should be a marriage made in Heaven. Together with mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion and stackers zesty pickles. Oh my, what is there not to love? And always giving Thanks to our Father, in Jesus Name amen and amen I would highly recommend this combination of such yummy fixings! 😋😜😋Live and Eat well and give thanks!
When I put together a burger or chicken sandwiches, I'm looking for any way I can to punch up the flavor-carmelized onions are ideal, but alot of work. That's where these onion buns come in, they cut out one extra step. Then I only need chopped pickles and cherry tomatoes, plus Ray's honey mustard dipping sauce and my sandwich is complete.
These were so good. I used plain Hawaiian bread, and it was good. But the sweetness from the onion and the sweetness of the bread are yummy. These are the best. I've not seen them anywhere else.
We have made multiple types of sandwiches with these buns. Ham, turkey, grilled and crispy chicken and I've even used it for grilled cheese. Its Hawiian bread so how can you mess up. I really like the slight onion flavor. Its not overpowering but just the right amount of sweetness %26 onion.
On a delivery order, I received this as a substitute for Pepperidge Farms Onion Rolls. I was not a fan of it. I don't particularly like a savory burger on a sweet roll. Off-putting to me!
Like many reviews, I ordered another brand that was out of stock and was substituted with these. As with most, the sell by date was the same day of receipt. The buns were somewhat stale and had a very strange chemical like taste.
I got a bag of eight the other day and they were still one day in date and we made tuna fish sandwiches and lo and behold all the bottom of the buns were moldy!!!!!
I really like these buns. I made the order which contained these buns on September 11, 2025. To my amazement, the package had a “best by” date of September 4!!!
these are onion rolls. there's no onions on top of these rolls, the package looks amazing, the rolls inside are plain. I'm not paying $4 for plain rolls
Item has a use by date of today 6 Dec 24 which is the date picked up. Not using the item until Sunday 8 Dec 24. Hope it is still useable by then or will have to throw it away. Picked up items should never expire on the date picked up. Personnel pulling the orders need to be trained to check dates on short shelf life items when filling the order to prevent customer dissatisfaction with items received.
