I've had this microphone for a few months now and it's dealt very well with just tossing or leaving it wherever and not exactly taking great care of it. The sound is quite well and I've experienced no problems with it or any difficulties while using it on Linux. I have never tested it on windows but I see no reason why it wouldn't perform just as well on a windows system. The included cables have also been of good quality and dealt well with a few tugs or pulls from getting caught up or my dog ripping the cable out. Overall I'd say 4.8 out of 5 only because the sound quality isn't perfect but it's certainly more than good enough for it's price point. I'd highly recommend it for almost any use case.
This mic is worth the money! It comes with a microphone stand, the wires to connect to your pc, and a cover for the mic. The only thing I didn't like was the audio that came out of it because it sounded a little cheaper but with help from different programs it sounds great! I would totally recommend this product to anyone who's looking into it.
The sound is no better than what you get with the cheapest mic you can buy. I was hoping the sound would be better, but it isn't. Tried connecting it to my phantom power unit with XLR connection and it registered no sound at all. So I used the USB connection. I don't know if I am going to keep it as a backup mic for when my other one goes down or get my money back.
This microphone does not come with the headset displayed. If you think you're getting a deal, you are not. But what's even worse is that this brand has made no efforts to account for hoe Window 10 handles audio input. And thus, this mic's drivers are garbage and it constantly disconnects. It will remain unrecognized by the PC until a hard restart occurs and sometimes you have to clear the USB altogether. This is a level of troubleshooting that's asinine for someone just looking to record simple audio. When the mic works it sounds great, but the frustrations and the manipulation by the seller and creator are both worse than the good they had to offer.
