Having done a lot of research into the next TV against what I really wanted in terms of picture quality and long term value, I went ahead with the purchase of a a 65" The Frame 2020 TV. Due to the size of the TV and the wall background, I also chose a white Bezel for the this TV. Very pleased with this TV. Picture quality is excellent. Absolutely stunning! The ability for the TV to be switched to art is a cool feature.
I love my Samsung Frame tv so much! It's a whopping 75” yet never looks dominating because the combination of 4K ultra HD with the truly glorious Art Mode which showcases a truly stunning, diverse and eclectic range of paintings and photographs both old and contemporary. My partner and I love discussing the painting or photography that might be displaying on a particular day - and as there is so many to choose from you really are spoilt for choice. Because of design of the tv it really does look like a genuine framed painting when not In tv mode. It is so classy and stylish compared to other flatscreen TVs in my opinion. I collect a lot of Art and sculptures and I was always worried that a huge, centrally placed tv would ruin the aesthetic of my sitting room but the opposite is true. The tv itself is a joy to use with extraordinary definition on 4K programmes. We were like little children gasping in delight and awe when we christened the Samsung by watching a David Attenborough documentary Blue planet II. I was also chuffed how easy it was to instal the TV on the wall - just one metal plate and 6 screws and then you hang the tv on that but I expect some people will opt for professional installation. And did I mention the ABSOLUTE JOY of the single THIN, almost invisible cable which is the ONLY cable that must be attached to the tv which provides both the power and all the signals needed to actually watch Sky, DVD, internet, game consoles etc. All your various external devices connect to a small separate black box on the other end of the optical cable instead of the TV itself which means there are no longer that multitude of ugly tailing wires emanating from the TV - this enhancing the concept of it being like a free hanging art frame not a tv. Very easy to set up one mounted and the black box immediately recognised My Sky box etc. Perhaps my only gripe is that the sound isn't to the same quality as the resolution in my opinion and the aesthetically pleasing and slim horizontal starter menu display always presents an additional and unrequested vast range of tacky tv programmes and obscure channel icons underneath which spoil the aesthetic and clean lines of the home screen. But really The Frame really is a thing of beauty and the customisable bevels you can buy make the TV look even more like a real art frame. As you might see in the photo I bought a slick snap on white bezel separately and it looks lovely.
We have been impressed with our new 43” Frame TV - as our main concern was integrating a new TV into our living room without taking up space and without the horrible shiny black screen, which can undo all the decorating people do at home. The choice of artworks is fantastic, the installation was seamless and very easy and then - you flick the TV on and the image quality is kind of insane. Bottom line: it is timeless and well worth the money. Think of this as investing in artwork, not just another TV.
I was fed up with a big black blob influencing the decor of the living room, I now have art to suit my mood and also family portraits. The ‘art' is so easy to change. Installation very straightforward, picture and sound very clear and crisp. Very pleased with purchase
I really wanted this TV, mainly due to the flat wall mount and the single invisible wire to the zone Connect box that allows for mounting without the worry of renovations and hiding wires. I got all of the above but the Art Mode, along with the amazing visuals of the ambient mode and the music mode simply blew me away. This TV is beautiful and I am over the moon.
5 stars across the board! I now want one in every single room! The picture quality is beautiful, the install not difficult, the smart home connectivity easy, and the art is stunning. Once we hide our cords the correct way no one can tell it's a tv. Love this
I've wanted one of these for a few years having seen one at a show. The 2020 QLED Frame has a wonderful picture. Excellent contrast, deep saturation, very good blacks. Audio is remarkably good when you consider it sits flush to the wall with a frame around it! Came complete with the Frame wall mount which is pretty ingenious and it really does fit flush to the wall. I bored a hole in our stud wall and was able to pass the Fibre One connect cable through that. The one-connect box is big so don't think you can put that behind the TV on the wall (If you want a flush fit) I additionally purchased the beige frame which works for me. Whole thing is quality from start to finish and I'm still blown away by the image and art work display. If its what you want you wont be disappointed.
This tv is fantastic. Just check out the picture below. the user interface is brilliant. All the apps you need inc, Disney+ and AppleTV (which are not on many TVs together). Also as the TV has AirPlay2 it means you can seamlessly stream your phone, Samsung/Apple or otherwise to the TV. Don't really need to say anymore! Also as I'm an electrician the install of this TV was excellent and so smooth. Probably one of the easiest TV's I've had to install.
I purchased this tv approx a month ago and have placed it up on the wall , hidden the cabling and it looks like a picture. The white frame I purchased with it made all the difference. 4K on this tv is wonderful and there are some great guides on perfecting the contrast, brightness , but the AI smart mode works a treat, the pre set setup works really well. I'm a keen gamer and the gaming mode for latency is bonus, plus the versatility of the art or ambient mode makes this a unique tv. Highly recommend
The TV looks great. The picture quality is stellar, but it does require some calibration to suit personal preference. Art mode is gorgeous, although it's not quite as convincing as we had hoped; depending on the room lighting, it can just look like art projected through a screen. You can work with the settings some to help with this, but it's not going to look like true canvas hung on the wall. That being said, it definitely beats a big, black square creating dead space in your living room! We encountered some hiccups along the way - for some reason, you can't Favourite too many art pieces in the Art Store; it almost seems as if the memory fills up and you can no longer utilise Art Mode. No way to clear the cache nor delete certain apps to free up space either. Unfortunately, the only solution we were given was to reset all factory defaults and start again - truly frustrating to log in to all your apps again, reset all your calibrations and then avoid selecting too many favourites in the art gallery. It wasn't even confirmed if this was actually the issue, but it's what we've had to resort to for now! We did try to find a 2019 model since the price for the 2020 model is quite steep for what it is, and 2019 also has the key QLED screen. We're not unhappy with our purchase, but did have higher expectations at this price point in terms of usability. It does still sting to think that another chunk of change is needed to purchase a bezel. The plain black frame looks okay, but also makes it look more like a TV than a frame for art.
