SAMSUNG 49" Class CRG9 Dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440) Curved QLED Gaming Monitor LC49RG90SSNXZA

Been eyeing this for over a year. Finally jumped on it when it was $200 off. The monitor arrived no problem. I come from triple monitor set-up and this 49" makes me not miss it. This is basically two 27" monitors put together. I really like the no bezel look. Everything looks seemless now. Awesome for gaming and productivity. With the higher resolution text and gaming looks better on this monitor. Walmart is a great way to go to get this monitor because the 4 year extended warranty is really affordable $77..... everywhere else is at least $100 or more. It was a no brainier for me.

Dont think i have ever walked into a room and grinned at a monitor because of its stupidly large size.. But after using it, I cannot think of anything else that would come close to it. GREAT All round monitor expecially if your looking to upgrade from a dual setup to something a bit special. Highly recommended!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my 2nd with all day daily use and my wife is on her first, we love them, they are big but in my opinion mot too big since you can split it up, they are sexy with sleek lines and voluptuous curves, having a built in USB hub makes connecting peripherals a dream especially if they are Wireless since you can just plug the dongle right in the back. I will never have another monitor again other than a 49 or larger Odyssey!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for my racing simulator and working from home. The racing simulator performance is amazing with 240 Hz. Working from home, the ultra-wide layout makes it easy to have code and simulations up simultaneously. Fantastic monitor.

Really satisfied overall. One of the cheapest possible 4k 144hz monitors available. Despite being quite light in plain black (well, it was supposed to be black, but due to high luminescence in upper left corner, it isn't), otherwise it is really cool. I did not tested HDR mode because it's too bright for me, but besides that - it works great. Stand is really good made - it shows big stability (my desk is quite narrow, so operating from the back is hard, therefore I had to move stand over the edge of desk, but even with 1/3 leg lenth moved into air, monitor ain't even move a bit down), also allowing me to fast and easy movement in any direction. There are few small downsizes, such as: - high luminance in plain dark black - usb hub could provide bigger power to charging devices (ain't too bad, but Quick Charge 3.0 and upper are non possible) - tight backdoor for cable management. Besides that, monitor offers really strong pros: - cheap 4k - cheap 144 hz - bright hdr (it is only hdr 400 standard, but still it is way more, than enough for me) - stable stand, which really moves lightly - back illuminance (was OK, but it was still too bright in the dark) - matte finish of the screen (rather a standard than a feature, but it is not always that way) - thick bezel - nicely looking black finish - lightweight - headphone out (shame it is not lineout for speakers, but it is better than nothing). I'm satisfied with that purchase, especially in that price range. 28" fits perfectly in gap between standard monitor size and big tv-monitor hybrids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer monitor it's probably one of the best things I've could ever. Wish to have it is amazing on how it could be. Let's go both sideways and um and horizontal. It is made by a great company that produces great piture and barely no lagging when you in game. I hoping when the newest one come out what are they going do next and if anything like this one us gamers are going to be loving the monitor and life.

The screen is good in SDR, very mediocre in HDR. Would be completely worth the money if it wasn't for the total disaster in terms of firmware support from Samsung. Firmware revision 1008.1 is broken, often desyncing from PC and laptop (two tried, both over HDMI and DP), making it necessary to unplug and plug over and over again every few hours.

I've had this monitor for over a year now. Randomly during game play the screen goes black. It flickers, goes black, and after a few second comes back on. I've recently tried to update its firmware from 1004 to 1008. I've renamed the USB drive To SERVICE, tried both the image file and the Zip file. Neither work. I cant afford to buy another monitor. I will have to put up with this until it breaks. Not going to buy Samsung ever again. On its support page there is not even a log of the changes of firmware. Sloppy! Clearly dont care.
