Great gaming monitor

After having this monitor for one year, I can say that I am satisfied with this display. I only have one complaint: after going to sleep, it will sometimes not wake up by normal methods. I sometimes have to use the power toggle. This doesn't happen every time. It very well could be an issue with something else that is causing it. Overall, I am pleased with this display.

The monitor is very clear and bright, even in well-lit rooms. Do not notice any glare or reflections unless the screen is mostly black. The curvature is nice for a screen this size. I wish it had more PBP/PIP modes so it could be set up better in my space and for games that don't play nice with the 32:9 aspect ratio. Out of the box, the monitor arm would not attach to the base, but that was a relatively easy fix. Be sure to have a friend (or a lot of open space) when unboxing, as it is quite large and heavy. After about 1 week of moderate use, a vertical green line appeared near the center of the screen. Warranty repair in progress. Assuming that goes well, I will have no complaints and will never be able to go back to multiple monitors ever again.

Advertised to "Connect more ways" with a photo of lines into the monitor from a tablet, a keyboard, an XBox controller, and a laptop with HDMI 2.1 | DP | USB-C listed as connection options. After setting the laptop up, this apparently means you can connect via USB-C, but that only drives the speaker and the USB-C out port, but not the actual monitor. You still need that laptop to output to HDMI or Display Port separately. Sad panda, bad advertising.

Don't waste your money on the Samsung Care+ or VIP Advantage Membership. 3 different numbers, chats and texts - no resolution from a care team.

After two months I finally figured out what was causing tension headaches with nausea that would not go away or respond to treatment. It was this monitor. I tried all settings and moving it further away. If you are sensitive, beware!
