Samsung - 50" Class U7900 Series UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV (2025)

This TV is an incredible value for the price. I was honestly surprised by how great it is, especially after seeing some negative reviews. I’ve had zero issues with mine. There’s no need for a Roku box — everything is built right in. The picture quality is stunning; I’ve even rewatched movies just because they look so lifelike, almost 3D. The sound is equally impressive, giving off a true movie theater vibe. If you’re on a budget but want a big, high-quality TV, this is the one. You really can’t beat the price — and don’t let the negative reviews fool you.

I just moved and downsized. The tv I had for my bedroom was too large. It’s a Samsung as well. I have 3 Samsung tvs. They’re wonderful. I started searching for a smaller set and this one is perfect. Setup was so easy and it weighs less than 20 lbs so it’s easy for a senior citizen to move. It’s perfect. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to friends.

My biggest berf is absolutely no material for setup involved. Not a manual, not even a fold-out piece of paper with any information on any of the connections. If you have questions on the features, its a constant internet lookup. There is a built in app called Smart Things which Apparently means it comes with the ability respond to Alexa since there is a built in Alexa app... but the remote doesn't have any microphone abilities so that if you want that you've actually got to buy a different one from Amazon or wherever might carry it. To control the sound you use the remote and there is a plus button and a minus button. When you press it shows the sound level or mute, but does not turn up or down even though that is what the implication is. I have mine plugged directly into a CAT5 cable. I don't see any lag. the home screen is cluttered and it would be nice to rearrange the banners of information. Who knows since no manual is ever found for it anywhere. The picture is very nice. The sound is so so. I ordered a soundbar. There's a lot I haven't tried. My sole purpose was to get away from paying for expensive cable. But now, its a chinese menu of streaming apps.

I wanted to like this television, I really did. Samsung is a quality brand overall, but apparently the lower end products are not up to par. I had a lot of problems with a bad picture, the television refused to accept updates, and customer service was rude and extremely unhelpful. I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, but I just did not want anyone going through the experience I did. Hope this saves someone the headache I had.

I loved the size %26 price. But the picture quality sucks! First few days was great, but then when movies/shows played it was so dark you couldn't even see the picture. At first I thought it was the specific shows I was watching; but then I tried all %26 it's the same. Once the show started it was mostly all black. Hate the remote! It's small %26 hard to maneuver. There should be more buttons to click not the circle disc. I'm returning the TV I did like all the extra channels with Samsung.

Terrible remote! No microphone. Not user friendly AT ALL for sight impaired, small buttons and ALL BLACK! Hard to navigate channels goes to fast with bar on remote. Do not recommend. Very complicated to customize no manual and stupid instructions when you finally find them. Bought for dad and would buy fire TV next time around

I didn't receive my package. The company I started working with, called On Track, didn't deliver the package, but they noted that they did. They don't have delivery confirmation. This company has a lot of similar cases and bad reviews. Wallmart customer support keeps rejecting my request for a refund. I didn't expect such service and just lost money.

The television looks good. The picture looks good, but I am unable to watch anything at all because I am unable to complete the process. It keeps giving unable to connect to Samsung server. Called Samsung customer service and techs. They are unable to address the matter stated that it must be the TV. Read other online reviews that this is a regular issue. Samsung is forcing you to go through their application to be able to watch anything at all. I am returning and choosing a different brand.

If I could rate this TV a 0 star, I would! The tv was good for about a couple of days. After a couple days of having the TV, the picture started skipping and glitching. I thought maybe the tv needed to be reset. After resetting, it stopped glitching for about 20 minutes, then continued. Worst experience EVER!

i have owned samsung TVs for a long time. but this one blacked out after 8 days and the walmart wouldn't replace it or return it because we didn't have the box . the serial number and recite match but they gave us a rude experience and said sorry we're not doing anything try an take itto another store
