SAMSUNG 55” Class S95D OLED Smart TV QN55S95DAFXZA 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only bought it two weeks ago but am very happy with this new TV. Our last TV, 46", was also a Samsung. It lasted 16 years so it was a no brainer that when we needed to update we would always choose a Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first OLED TV " and the S95D is simply AMAZING " with outstanding rich colors and its plenty bright enough to handle a well-lit environment. The antiglare coating does its job exceptionally well. The level of on-screen detail is a big step-up from our old unit and watching TV has become pleasurable once again A slim, sleek design is aided by the 'single cable / one connect' unit mounted to the back of the stand. Very, very happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the S95D a week ago. To my amazement it has achieved and in some cases exceeded all my expectations of what it should look and sound like. It's one thing to view it in store but in a home condition it may disappoint. The low reflective screen works well, brightness is more than enough, very vibrant colours and great sound from the TV and sound bar combined. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone.

It has been on the wall at home for 2 months and my family love it. It functions brilliantly with my surroundings sound system and makes movie viewing as enjoyable as the cinema.

This TV was installed in a very bright room with numerous windows. Glare made the old TV almost un-viewable. This TV looks GREAT. No glare. Installation was a little different since the “brains” of the TV are separate from the screen and we mounted it to the wall behind the screen. $2000 for a 55” TV but it saved me $5000 since I don't have to buy window shades.

What I love about this product is truly extensive. The picture quality is simply breathtaking. The QD-OLED panel delivers incredibly vibrant colors and truly inky blacks, creating a sense of depth and realism that pulls you right into whatever you're watching. HDR content, in particular, shines with dazzling highlights and intricate shadow details that elevate every scene. The NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor really makes a difference, upscaling content beautifully and ensuring everything looks crisp and clear, even if it's not native 4K. However, the absolute standout feature for me is the new "OLED Glare Free" technology. My living room gets a lot of natural light, and with previous TVs, reflections were a constant battle. The S95D's anti-glare screen is a game-changer. I can now enjoy movies and sports during the day without any distracting reflections, allowing the stunning picture to be the sole focus. This, combined with the impressive brightness for an OLED, makes it a joy to watch in any lighting condition. Beyond the visuals, the sound quality is surprisingly robust for a thin TV, and the Object Tracking Sound+ feature adds an immersive layer, making audio follow the action on screen.

Why have a beaut big TV powered by a a tiny black remote with controls meant for a space pilot. The labels are almost black on black and not user friendly for old fingers and old eyes. Buttons without definition!! Toggles are sending my wife insane. self charging a nice touch, but for how long in a dimly lit room??
