[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My range was installed in November 2023. It's now April 2025. I love the induction range. Like gas, it's instant heat. It cooks quickly. Because it requires a pan to be on the eye before heat is produced, it is child proof. However, there is a cooling down period after an eye has been heated up. As for the oven, it cooks more thoroughly and evenly that other ovens I've had. You can also control the unit via wifi. However, I don't use that feature so I can't recommend it. I would definitely buy it again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i had a hard time finding the serial number. to find it: open the oven door. while standing, place your hand on the left side front of the oven, in between the two left knobs. now, kneel and look inside the oven. look up, along the upper edge of the inside door frame. the serial # should be near where you put your hand. it was silver-on-silver so i didn't see mine for a long time. this is a decent range, i have no negative observations. “i received compensation for this review but the review is my own”
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] unlike the usual freestanding stoves which you must reach all the way back past boiling pots, the front panel controls make it much more convenient. nothing can beat induction imho.
Good Stove BUT Cooking Areas are very limited. We have a number of standard sized pots and pans, some of which came with the purchase. However, the burner circles are either too large or too small for most of our pans. The manual says not to allow more than 1/2-1" overhang on burners. We are always finding the pans are just a bit too big for this guidance, or a bit too small. The smallest burner is at the back, and no one wants to sauté on a burner so close to the backsplash and so far away from the front. Final note: the various tones and sounds made by the stove for pre-heating or just turning stuff on drives our dog bonkers. Wish I could turn off the electronic sounds. This is the case for most Samsung appliances. It's like playing Mario Bros.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was offered a set of cookware (compesated) for my review but they did not asked me to have a positive or negative review so that is good. overall the range is on the expensive side for the features but i think it still worth it. heats really fast with the proper cookware and makes cleaning a lot easier.
i use the induction stove mainly and love the speed of cooking - boiling water for pasta, etc is so fast as is sauteeing veggies. i calibrated the oven temperature and it was spot on. i love the clean lines and the ease of cleaning. “i received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.*
I bought this 16 months ago, and yesterday the cooktop had some kind of issue where all four burners are displaying the "F0" that others have mentioned/shown. I put in a call to a local repairman today. It is not very easy for me to have no working range for a long period. Prior to this, I was basically satisfied with the range and oven, although it smelled a lot for a while after arrival and I dislike the touch controls (in lieu of physical buttons). I also wish the Smart functions included diagnostics or any other assistance figuring out what's wrong. (The "Service" button just forwards me to to the website, which btw the link is broken.)
One of the burner knobs snapped off after 1.5 years of use. Samsung refused to replace the part out of warranty, which was a shocking 10% of the price I paid initially for the entire unit. This was my first, and will be my last purchase of a Samsung product. I highly recommend avoiding.
Range failed after 2.5 years. Neither of the large burners will detect a pan and give an error code. The repair options are cost prohibitive and it is not clear that they will fix the problem. The product is outside of warranty.
I bought my range in January 2023. After about a month it began making a very loud rattling noise when in-use. Through Samsung Care+ a local technician came out and deemed it to be unrepairable due to physical damage. The technician deemed the range to be a safety hazard. You would think my range would be replaced immediately at that time...you would be wrong. I have spent the past several weeks being bounced around Samsung's call center with no help. I am now stuck with a very expensive piece of metal. DO NOT BUY!
