The picture quality and colors are very good on this model. The set up was fairly easy. There was only one part where we had to call our local tech support for help to finish the set up with our cable's Tivo remote. The serial number although listed on the box only provided 14 out of 15 numbers/letters to register it so you have to use the Samsung remote to find the full sequence on your tv. Registration is very easy online. Purchased a swivel stand for the tv which is an option for you if you have a slightly too small of a furniture stand for this size tv. No complaints. I am happy with it. Took the 5 yr additional warranty just in case.
Bought 65" Samsung Crystal UHD TV. I picked it up at the store. To many horror stores of deliveries. I am very pleased with the Tv. Very easy to program, imo. The picture is very good. Incredibly light in weight in comparison to the one I replaced, which was 65" also. Technology/plastic = weight difference? No complaints from me.
The picture is great with time it has gotten better. I do not care for the remote with no mic. i can't get certain channels because of no microphone. I do not like apps. the apps and the remote are separate from the television performance and picture.
Upgraded the family room TV to this Samsung U8000FB 65" screen. There are other, more expensive Samsung models out there, but I think you're definitely hitting the law of diminishing returns with them. This one does everything with the quality I need. I will say that I shied away from the U7900 model because it had fewer HDMI ports and I thought that could potentially be a problem later.
You can't go wrong with Samsung. The picture is so clear that it appears as if you're sitting at a live show recording. Don't forget to buy the warranty; you probably won't need it, but it's better to be safe than sorry. If you purchase the warranty, buy it the same day. Waited until later, and the warranty price went up $30 .
Luv this t.v its amazing!!! the clarity, the sound, and shape!!!I found it to be simple to set up!! great choices on shows!! tons of good stuff!!,the only thing that I don't like so much is remote,I had to get another!!! STILL RECOMMEND!!! LUV LUCKYCHARMS
hello here's my preliminary review: Some of the "fine print" features are slightly misleading, requires an internet access for the TV, and signing up for streaming service(s), ..that I didn't have. and some features are not available in the usa tv models (for recording tv shows) !?, They don't exactly spell that out upfront, you have to research all this. However overall, i like it enough to keep it. 🙂 * I have cataracts and needed a bigger screen, ...so I can read the words on the screen. 🥴
Install is ridiculous unless you have a bunch of time to download the Samsung app and create an account. It’s incredibly slow upon start and apparently YouTube tv is something you have to search every time you want to watch it. Won’t remember this account reliably, one night it works then unusable some how. Unfortunately I bought 2 of these. Never again!
I had problems day one. Picture is dark. Samsung blames cable. Cable blames Samsung. I couldn’t return the TV to Walmart because foolishly I throw the box out before trying it. My mistake. I also tried calling Walmart and the gentleman didn’t know how to help he put me hold and never came back.
As far as shopping in store, the employees are obviously angry and act like they don’t want to be there! If you buy at Walmart.com you get representatives in a foreign country who are reading a script and don’t understand what you need, it’s a horrible experience dealing with Walmart, I honestly believe that it’s not worth the little you save
