[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Samsung 65 inch TV last night and I was so excited since this was going to be my 1st Samsung TV. The TV was thin and the base was solid. The remote control is solar and can be charged via USB. That is a great feature. When I turned on the TV, Samsung made it very user friendly. It integrated everything in the set up like adding applications that I frequently use like Netflix, Amazon, YouTube etc.... The intelligent feature seems to adjust as you keep watching your shows. The picture adjusted and became clearer after placing it in intelligent mode. I also like that Samsung offers their own programs for FREE! I love that!!! Another great feature is the Ambient Mode. Really great pictures that is calming as well as decorative. It's like having a living picture frame in your TV. So far it is living up to my expectations..... this is truly a Smart TV. It has performed beyond what I have experienced from any other Smart TV's and I am excited to learn more what it can do for me and my family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that this isn't even the top of the line from Samsung, but I could not have dreamed of having a higher quality TV in my life. Upon setting the tv up, I was instantly dazzled by a spectacular light show that really let me know what this tv could do. The sound and picture seem flawless to me. It's actually a little hard to get used to. Everything feels like it's right in my face, like I am actually there. If 4K is this amazing, I can't imagine what 8K looks like. The brightness adjusts to the rooms lighting, and they have different picture and audio modes such as ambient for a pretty background image or a mode that's similar to picture and picture. They even include a free Samsung TV app with its own live channels and movies. There is a learning curve to figuring out how to work and navigate the TV, but there is a built in users manual. You can never lose it, and it's always there if you want to look something up. Apps are conveniently lined up in a row, and they have almost every app I could want. It is easy to cast videos to the TV from my phone or laptop. It has enough ports for all of my devices. It even recognizes and adapts to work with any smart devices. It recognizes my cable box and even lets me control it with the TV remote. Speaking of the remote, I am impressed that it is solar powered. The Netflix and Amazon Prime buttons are convenient. I almost wish I could have extra buttons I could program. The remote is very thin and small. It does all that I could hope for, but I do miss having number buttons for some apps. My only real issue with the TV is that it is difficult to put together. You need a table to place it on or else it is difficult to get the base attached. We had to get creative with the box and some wooden blocks. Overall, this is a great TV. It's full of so many features and is amazing quality. Don't hesitate to get it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I absolutely love this TV. The HDR is amazing and the range and depth of the blacks is excellent. The TV software allows us to quickly switch from watching Netflix, to watching something on cable, to playing video games. One of my favorite features is the art mode as it allows to fit better in the room when not in use rather than having a giant black rectangle on the wall. Lately we have been rewatching Breaking Bad and finally watching Yellowstone! It has been a great multi-purpose TV for streaming shows, watching cable, and playing video games.
Great picture Quality of picture very good Sound quality very good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like there's a problem with the current options we as consumers have when it comes to buying TVs. Ideally we'd want the high per pixel contrast of OLED panels, but with the brightness and longevity of LED TVs. Right now, we have to choose between that, but steps are being made in the right direction to get the best of both worlds and this is where Samsung's Neo QLED line of TVs come in. While Micro-LED displays are still way too expensive for your average consumer, Mini-LED TVs, such as my QN85A, act as a great intermediate for the time being and this really shows in the picture quality. Personally, I use this TV for a range of different media consumption like gaming on consoles, watching movies and even for possibly the most difficult use case, as a 4K 120hz primary computer monitor. I've had no issues so far in calibrating the TV for all of this and it honestly looks stunning; I've enjoyed the vibrate scenes of Cyberpunk 2077, the inky blacks of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the clarity and uniformity it brings to my programs as a 3D artist. As a bonus, I suspect this TV will last longer than traditional LED TVs as there are more backlights and they aren't being turned on as frequently due to its smaller local dimming zones. This tackles a problem where backlights slowly turn turn blue with excessive use, keeping your TV more vibrant for longer. Overall, this is the best TV I've had and I think anyone could be satisfied with it. I hope that we can see further shrinking of backlights toward Micro-LED TVs and if so, I'd be very excited to see what Samsung has to show going forward.
Tizen is slow, i mean it takes multiple seconds to do something, and it is full of ads. Multi view only works with Youtube and no other apps are supported. It is basically useless, you cant use netflix or disney or anything else. If you want to open Twitch the system wants you to connect a controller first, because it is listed as a video game streaming app. Pretty dumb. Back to the ads. At least 33% of your home screen is ads. If you want to go somewhere, Samsung forces you to go over the ad, which than can play as a video with sound. Everything is slow and anti-user. Before you can control anything, you always need to wait for the ads to be loaded. Older Samsung TVs are way faster and better to use. New Tizen is just to make them more money out of users.
Had this tv for a couple of months no, and to say I'm disappointed and wish that I had never wasted my money on it is an understatment. the picture quality on slightly dark scenes is shockingly bad, to the extent that they go really grain and washed out at the same time. my 12 year old tv in the conservatory has a better picture than this at times. I have tried every setting to try and eliminate this issue but to know avail. I would not recommend anyone buying this tv. yes the bright scenes are brilliant but the slightest dark scene is woful to watch.
As seen on this picture.the tv can't core with high speed images and ends up showing two images of the sky sports symbol and driver positions. Also does this with football players. Samsung aren't interested in helping either.I emailed thinking it's faulty. I have video and pictures I sent.
We bought this in Aug 2021, as replacement for a curved screen Samsung as screen has gone for 3rd time . Picture quality is brilliant, all feature sounds etc are extensive- but we can't use them, it has to be standard sound because like most households we have sky, and the Q box is not compatible with our tv. It took us ages to realise that we just needed all features turned off so the voice sync was right, it was so frustrating to not get the best from a very expensive tv 😟
I returned mines. It's a beautiful TV with exceptional picture quality in a well lit room which helps hide its flaws. In a dark room the blooming and slow dimming zone performance in dark scenes are unacceptable for the price. Mini-led is supposed to improve black levels. My Samsung HU9000 picture quality in a dark room is far superior and that's a TV Samsung released in 2014. If a TV's performance detracts from the content you're watching then its its a poor quality TV, especially at this price point.
