[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Samsung OLED TV thinking we'd just be upgrading from “pretty good” to “a bit better.” Turns out we've accidentally brought a cinema into the lounge room. We're definitely not tech experts. If the remote has more than six buttons, we start looking for the grandkids. But this TV was surprisingly easy to set up, and even we had it working without threatening to throw the instructions out the window. The picture is incredible. The blacks are actually black instead of that washed-out grey our old TV specialised in. Colours are so sharp we've caught ourselves saying, “I don't remember that actor having so many wrinkles!” Sport looks fantastic too—you can almost see the grass stains. The sound is much better than we expected, although it still can't drown out the neighbour mowing the lawn halfway through the footy. The smart features are great once you remember which button gets you back to normal TV. Is it cheap? No. But neither are decent tyres or a good mattress, and you use this every day. We've got absolutely no regrets. From two everyday Aussies who still occasionally call the remote “the clicker,” we'd happily recommend a Samsung OLED. Just be warned—you'll spend the first week watching nature documentaries because they look so good, even if you've never cared about penguins before. Five stars from us. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Super easy to set up, even with one person! Remote is super small and probably a little sensitive but nothing I'm sure we can't get used too, for something in the middle range price bracket would def recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very high quality television with fine image quality and excellent connectivity to broadcast and internet channels. Very easy to set up and navigate. My only quibble is the inabilities to receive DTS sound and 3D images from blu-rays and DVDs.

The TV has a great picure but some scenes are too dark. The main reason I said I would not recommend this tv is because it would not connect wirelessly to my router so it would not register the tv, it would not get software updates and all the free streaming content was not available. I ended up drilling a hole in a wall and running a cable from the router to the TV that fixed the problem but I should not be required to drill holes in my walls and run cables to a TV that touts it's wireless capability. After two days of trying to get the TV to connect wirelessly, I learned from two different people that they had the same problem with the wireless connection not working. The tv has a really great picture in most scenes but the blacks that are constantly mentioned in the ads are too dark in many nighttime scenes and I have changed the picture mode trying out the different modes. I would have bought a different model which costs several hundred dollars less if I had known about the wireless network problem.
