Samsung 7 Series NU7100 50" - Flat 4K UHD Smart LED TV (2018)

Everything advertised arrived and performs as expected. Clarity and ease of hook-up were great. This is not the top of the line image processor, so small speedy things will blur or create multiple images as they travel across the screen. My best example is a baseball. There are multiple images of the ball as it is hit or thrown across the screen. But I also didn't pay thousands of dollars for the most expensive image processor, so the image is as expected and an excellent value for the price point. The 50 inch diagonal set works great in my smallish TV room in my home (12 foot by 12 foot). I have no issues with the sound being too small for that space although if you use this set in a larger room, you may want to add on some speakers. The remote functions well and is easy to use to get to my streaming service or any of the other connected devices I have plugged into the set. Again, an excellent value for the money. Bravo!

This TV has a great quality 4K picture for the price, and reasonable built in sound. Slim and good looking unit, suitable for a modest size living room. The performance of the EPG is poor, as it frequently pauses for a several seconds while scrolling up and down through the channels, and it fails to populate all the upcoming programs until you tune into a channel in each broadcaster network. Its built in media player does not support playback of video files in which the audio is encoded in the commonly used DTS format, so anyone with a library of movie files with DTS audio will need to plug in a separate media player or computer. The built in Smart TV apps are pretty comprehensive and good quality. Overall pretty happy with this puchase.

Great TV, tedious remote control. Samsung needs to put out YouTube video of how to use the minimalist remote. Things like how do you get from channel 93 to 7 quickly? How do you rock back and forth between the two channels? How to stop the volume from surging unexpectedly ?

Superior 4k picture quality despite minor pixelations whilst on live tv. Allows access to YouTube and Spotify as well as the catch up TV services and offer superior sound and picture quality

I bought this tv hoping that the price difference with cheaper competitors was worth it, but probably it wasn't. The picture has nice high resolution, but the colors are unnatural. No matter how much you play with the advanced settings, the outdoor colors and contrasts are way off. Two other big negatives are: 1) it does not read Divx. 2) It cannot record programs on USB (I though it did when I bought it!). Also, it doesn't have a standard jack port for the audio, only optical digital. Overall disappointing.

Disgraceful that there is no Bluetooth or 3.5mm outlet socket for Headphones. 20c to include at the factory.

Was given this tv as a Christmas gift from my partner. Everything was going perfect until Monday 1st July when the LED stopped working from the middle of the screen to the entire right hand side of the screen. Super disappointed. It is only being replaced, who is to say it won't happen again?

Display is high quality but don't fall for "SMART" features. They are no different than what is found on cheap TVs. Samsung's own apps don't work with this TV. I have tried both Smart View and Smart Things from Mobile but no way to make them work. No way to remote control it other than the absurd remote control that they ship with it. No WiFi connectivity even with a Samsung mobile phone. I preferred this one over a Sony that was $200 cheaper but turned out to be waste of money.

I ordered this tv last year and received it on May 29th 2019. Well it is May 29th 2020 and the screen is going out. Half of the screen is black. It barely lasted a year. I would not recommend for long term use. I am very disappointed. The cost of the TV was not cheap and I thought Samsung was a good brand because I was pleased with my other Samsung Electronics but now I am not as confident in the brand any longer.

Picture is average, sound is diabolical even on optimised settings, worse there is no headphone jack nor Bluetooth capability to connect speakers or headphones.
