Amazing TV

KPaine July 28, 2022

Have finally purchased a Samsung Frame 55” TV & absolutely love it. The design, features, ease of use, everything you could want & more. It has enhanced the look of our living room massively, no more big black box in the corner, it is now a slim work of art on the wall. The picture is so sharp & clear & depth of colour is amazing. We're so impressed with it. We just need to buy the customised bezel in teak to finish off the look.

So easy to use!

Ellie1234 June 30, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought The Frame TV a few weeks ago and are so pleased with our purchase. We have mentioned to a few of our friends how good the TV actually is. It is so thin and seamless. You can only see 1 cable (only because ours isn't wall mounted yet) and the rest is hidden away. The set up was easy and we now have our own pictures on the TV as part of the ‘artwork'. The apps on the TV are great. It has all the basics like Netflix, Disney, free to air on demand channels etc and it's so easy to manouver around. Remote is small and easy to use but does take some getting use to. All in all, would recommend this TV. So happy with our purchase and can't wait to mount it on the wall!

Love what it's done to my living space!

RachNZ May 20, 2021

Love our Frame TV. Very easy to setup and attach to the wall. I love that it has opened up our whole living space, we no longer have a TV dominating our living space but instead it's just there when we want it.

Great TV but major flaw :(

Gerco February 25, 2023

This is my second frame TV, I have an original 65" in the loungeroom and wanted the same art series in the bedroom so just pulled the trigger on a 43" which I could not get the sensor to work for 3 weeks out of the box consistently The newer version is better with the cable now supplying power to the monitor so no power is required up on the wall which is awesome. The TV guide is much smoother too without the constant spinning wheel while trying to load what's on but it has one major flaw which I'm really unhappy with. Being in a smaller room now and on the wall when I turn the lights on or open the curtains which should enable the sensor to bring the artwork up when it senses movement it doesn't due to the very slim size and position of the movement sensor. They have mounted it to the bottom rear corner of the monitor so the lights from the room cast a shadow from it's frame and it thinks it's still in dark mode even in full daylight. I've had a Samsung tech out that thought it was a faulty sensor and even had the unit replaced under warranty untill I finally worked out what was happening when I put my phone down on the bench and it reflected light up to the sensor! I have since sat a mirror on the cabinet below the tv directing light towards the sensor and it is working fine and I now get the function (art mode turns on) when I walk in the room but this is rediculous it takes this for it to do what it's meant to. This could easily be rectified if Samsung redesigned the sensor to sit flush with the front of the TV's frame or move it to the top so no shadows could be cast on the sensor. I love the art series too much to get a refund but hope they rethink the design in the future.

Looks nice on the wall, but low light isn't great

Alxmac May 23, 2024

Looks nice on the wall, but the picture is ruined by the backlight which makes it look terrible and patchy in low light scenes. For such an expensive TV would have expected a lot better - we actually have another Samsung tv that was about 1/4 of the price which doesn't have this issue.

Dead Pixels Twice — Not Worth the Price

tagaCebu May 7, 2026

Very disappointing experience. This TV was barely used, yet it developed dead pixels after just one year. It was replaced under warranty, but the exact same issue came back in year 3. Now it's out of warranty, and fixing it costs around ₱25K. For a premium product, this level of durability is unacceptable. Feels like a complete waste of money.

I paid $$$ for a TV that serves me ads

KaplaBloche September 27, 2021

I turned my new TV on for the second time today and noticed a pop up ad on the home screen and after some googling realised that SAMSUNG REMOVED THE MENU OPTION TO DISABLE ADS in its most recent update. So if you buy this TV, you literally cannot disable the ads. I know software/web based services use ads for revenue but this is HARDWARE and I paid money for it. It's the equivalent of turning on bluetooth headphones and hearing a 10 second ad before your music plays. I wouldn't have bought the TV if I had known this.

terrible

Corey99 February 6, 2023

I bought this product a year ago but because the box is completely seperate the box has suddenly shorted. I have contacted Samsung to replace the box or at least the cord and they sent me a remote.

Stopped working mid set up

Fragile August 8, 2021

Brought the 50' TV and it stopped working 5 minutes into set up and wont turn back on. My parents brought the same TV and the screen and it wouldn't even turn on. These TV's are so fragile and they have excluded things from the warranty. Not happy at all. They are sending a service man out to look but still. Brand new TV should work first time.
