Best tv I have ever owned. ❤️ Every Aspect of this tv is perfect. Can share all my other wifi linked players with it, eg stereo, xbox, blue Ray and my bedroom tv. Perfect !!!
The TV is good, but the fact that it defaults to one of SamsungTV's channels when you start it up infuriates me. It's so intrusive. You can't seem to change the default volume or default channel at startup. Certainly there is no option for some peace and quiet while you choose your programme (which let's be honest is going to be a streaming service, not some rubbish on SamsungTV). For me this blights the whole Samsung experience.
Had this tv set up 2 days and although picture colour and quality are very good, there is so much lag and juddering of images that at times it is difficult to watch.
1st one I purchased had to be returned, froze every time I tried to set it up. Spent 3 hrs doing a soft reset. Finally gave up & tried to perform a complete reset, gues what? It froze again. In the end it had to go even just for my sanity. Samsung where great, picked it up within 2 days (it was a Saturday) then took 8 days to be received by the warehouse, then another 5 days to get a replacement sorted. Delivered again within 4 days. Put the 2nd tv on the wall ready to set up, guess what? It froze again, seemed to be when setting up netflix( don't know why) had to perform a factory reset. Deleted samsung tv, didn't set up netflix. Seemed to work. Finally to the plunge, set up netflix. All good so far. Have 5 other Samsung tvs, never had a problem. Why this one? Is it a 2021 issue,
My new Samsung tv has had to be fixed IR was loose inside not connected and board changed due to a list of issues. Having all Samsung tablets, phones an tv to now fall short of the standards they once had. I even stayed when my q6 went screen burn just out warranty.
Very disappointed in having this Tv. Only had this TV nearly 2 years coming up in May and already died. Tv will start up and turn off all on its own, and will keep repeating No Sound! Done the check list samsung provides online on different methods to try at home. Definitely money waisted. And very disappointing.
MY TV suffers exactly the same problem as the problem reported by another individual a month ago (entitled 'White Spots.' Basically, in dark scenes, the TV shows large patches of washed out blacks. It's awful. I have contacted Samsung Support and like the other poster I am just told that the TV is operating within specification. Of course, there is nothing stated within the specification that hints at this problem, to the contrary, it is sold as a top end TV. I see that the other "White Spots" poster has been advised to liaise with Customer Support to explore alternative solutions. I have tried and tried this already, to no avail. Samsung just tell me that the way in which the TV has been designed means these washed out patches are inevitable. I could not be more disappointed. The problem only manifests itself in darker scenes, so I think this TV would only be suitable to those who only watch TV that contains bright, vibrant images (e.g. not night scenes etc).
Delivered in August and installed by professional company, beginning of December lines started to appear on screen, Samsung have said that damage has occurred by myself and will not repair the screen.
Bought the TV for $1595 and before long had lines appear. Took it in to get screen replaced by the only two recommended repairers by Samsung and the first wanted to charge me $1400 for a new screen after I initially paid $80 for them to assess it. I pointed out that the Samsung website said $1044 for the screen and the fact that is almost the price of a new TV but they didn't care. So with that I took it to the other Sansung repairer in Perth who charged me $100 upfront to review it and has subsequently given me a quote which totals $1590 which is the full price of a new tv. I don't want to create more landfill but Samsung certainly are encouraging it when they want to charge the price of a new TV for replacing the screen. I have sent an email to the second repairer highlighting the cost and the price quoted on the Samsung website which they haven't responded to and I doubt they will.... so my TV still sits at the repairers and I guess I am being encouraged to buy a new one. Thanks Samsung I can't help feel I just got Rodgered.
White lines running across the whole screen, samsung are refusing to help with this saying its within spec, its not and its very noticeable when viewing, on the whole a very disappointing experience and i wont be purchasing samsung products in the future
