I have this tv for about 3 weeks and am extremely pleased with it. I love the single cable that carries data and power to my wall mounted tv, very neat and tidy. Best of all, is the picture quality, in a word ‘amazing'. Well done Samsung you did it again.
I bought this tv 3 weeks ago and not disappointed. After doing lots of research and reading reviews I upgraded from a Samsung 60 inch and this one is next level. Excellent picture quality and easy to setup. Took bit of time to get used to the remote but loving it now as a universal 1 for all. Thanks Samsung, I would not go to any other brand.
My wife and I were in the market to buy a top of of the line 4K TV. Over the past few months I had noticed that the price of the 8K had dropped considerably and it fell into our budget after negotiating a great price, which was $2000 less than a few months earlier when I asked the best price in another store. We took this beauty home with us and it was a very easy setup. We watched a lot of 4K content on YouTube, Netflix and Prime. The quality was and still is amazing after owning this tv for a month. There was one thing that I did notice that on standard definition still pictures it looked more like a paintings than photos. There is no Foxtel app for this tv yet. Over all we are extremely happy with our purchase.
I've searched a long time to justify replacing my 12 yr old LCD Sony. Curved screen, Big screen, OLED have been a consideration but couldn't find something I had to have. Then Samsung QLED 8K was released. "WOW" movie & terrestrial images superb. One Connect Box was major selling point for reducing cable length and rats nest made when needing to changeout/updating components. I hung on wall with ease & when my kids come home with grandkids they can connect game stations with no problems any more. Great concept Samsung, you are setting the benchmark high at great price when compared to other brands and technologies. Keep up the good work.
I bought this TV a couple of weeks ago now and I also bought a new Samsung Soundbar (which has been H3LL to deal with the sound always flicking to BT mode and cutting in and out) I am happy with the TV but Samsung get your "stuff" together when it comes to a simple soundbar.
Have had this TV for nearly a month now and it is awesome! Easy to navigate, brilliant picture and looks great on my wall. The only thing I would complain about is that it has a 'humm' sound when the picture on the screen is light. The humm goes away then the picture is dark. A little annoying but I am trying to ignore it and get used to it - we'll see how we go. Other than that I really love this TV and, for the moment, I am happy I purchased it.
Had it for a month, generally very happy. Great quality picture, with a lot of features. Disappointing you can't list kayo as an app on the app feature. The Samsung app is also not very user friendly but hey it's a tv right and the quality of picture is superb.
Awesome tv but very concerned that AV1 seems to be the 8k codec that most providers e.g you tube, ATV etc have adopted and this TV appears not to support it. In addition a lot of people were told a software upgrade was coming to support EARC. It's been 10months and no sign of it globally. A lot of unhappy customers were sold on this promise.
Cant play any 8k content existing today: youtube or video files, DLNA is unstable (crashes every 2hr) and limited to 1080p. 8k is just the name but NOT the capability of this TV to play existing 8k content. Confirmed by Samsung during my hearing at VCAT
I have a samsung 65in Qled 8k tv just over a year old now. The screen has been replaced twice and just now a third time. Utterly disqusted in this tv. My last samsung tv lasted 6+ years. This is flimsy poor sound and extremly faulty. Now its a 2 to 3 week wait with no tv two kids under 10 years old. I have two samsung tvs, a samsung watch and had samsung phones for the last 20 years. This tv is a dud.
