I love almost every feature! Samsung has really developed a great TV! (Except for the energy consumption)

I'm a happy customer!

Greg C July 8, 2021

i previously owned the un55js8500 and the it is worth the upgrade to the newest qled tv. it took a few hours of my eyes to adjust to the picture quality and the brightness and how clear this tv performs. i'm really happy i made the purchase and it is going to be a good summer chilling in the air conditioned room. gaming on this tv are amazing, everything came in details which the old "js" model could not compare. if your cable box has no sound, try the hdmi (earc) port.

Overall okay

Brain2758 August 9, 2022

Great picture quality with decent colours and good HDR peak brightness. Good for watching movies but a bit problematic when it comes to gaming. While this TV is 120hz and supports VRR meaning that it should be great for next-gen gaming, there is some pretty noticeable image smearing due to the not so great response time even in game mode, 10ms at 60fps and just over 5ms at 120fps, resulting in an unfocused picture during fast movement. Also only has ONE hdmi 2.1 port so you can only have one next-gen console connected at a time. There is also some stutter while watching movies since movies are shot in 24fps while this TV goes up to 120 and doesnt compress frames very well, but it's not very noticeable and happens rarely. Overall a decent product and if the image smearing doesn't bother you then it might be worth getting for next-gen consoles.

Great picture quality, one huge GLARING flaw

Chad November 7, 2021

so this picture has great picture quality rivaling oleds with deep blacks and high brightness that oled can't currently rival. however if i'm watching a movie or tv show and there is an indirect light source that i have to get up and walk several feet to see in the tv it causes a rainbow reflection to go across the entire tv which is very distracting and ruins the picture quality. this is especially bothersome when i have guests over and turning off all the lights and closing all the blinds in my house isn't practical. i've never had such poor reflection handling in a tv. as you can see from the photos i've uploaded i'm watching a brightly lit tv show during daytime, three lights are reflected by the tv and you can also see my window. is my unit defective?

Poor quality & after sales service

JReynolds March 3, 2022

I purchased the 75' QN95A in October 2021. Since then I have had a issues with the TV. It has been returned under warranty once and when received back the fault/manufacturing defect had not been repaired. I have subsequently made a further service request under the warranty but the retailer and Samsung are refusing to honor the warranty as Samsung Switzerland claim the TV is in working order. The attached pictures clearly evidence it is not. It may be that I am unlucky in receiving a damaged panel or it may be that there are many others that have simply accepted Samsung claim that this is normal performance. This cannot be an acceptable performance for a 4000chf tv. Aside from the 'jail bars' which are clearly visible in ambient mode and watching content, it is almost impossible to watch any sport on this TV or movies with fast action sequences as blurred image and artefacts making it unwatchable. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this TV. It is unfortunate that the retailer and manufacturer do not recognise their obligations and either provide a replacement or a refund (my preferred option now) and I need to resort to my legal and consumer rights to receive a product in proper working order.

Frustrating

Megan January 15, 2022

i've owned the tv for a little over 6 months, it was mounted as soon as it arrived and never touched again. the screen is starting to discolor and no amount of messing with the settings myself will it go away. there is also screen burn from previous you tube videos that i have had playing. i was under the impression that qled tv's could not get burn in but apparently i was wrong. the first 5 months of owning the tv went perfectly fine and i loved it. it's been in the last month that the screen has started failing. i have switched out cords and attempted troubleshooting but nothing is working. it's been frustrating to say the least.

Performance is great but durability is pathetic

Danny M November 28, 2021

i've had this since it came out and the tv was great. all the good disappeared when i turned the swivel mounted tv and turned it back to find an under the screen crack in the upper right corner. it takes no pressure at all to turn my mount so the tv breaking from this blows my mind. of course the warranty won't cover such a fragile product either. i've never been this angry/disappointed w/ a samsung product.
