[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought another (2) samsung 1TB SSD Using Samsung Migration software to create back up boot drives is extremely useful and easy creating confidence for any workstation issues. Samsung SSDs for data storage and complete systems support.

wow, wow, and wow!!! super easy install - i did a fresh install of windows 10, will transfer backups and reload apps. it took over 3min 30sec on my old drive to get from pressing power to webbed out to my calendar. no joke - now it's 15 seconds! say whaaaa???

i've owned multiple ssds from samsung through the years and nothing but exceptional experience in all instances. i'm planning on building a nas for home use.. is this suitable for that purpose?

Although quite expensive this item works just fine and was easy to install thanks to the "You Tube" videos available. No problems so far.

Although I was pleased to find the item at Walmart.com, the item was not as good as expected for the price. However, did find other items that appear to be superior on the site.

The item was returned because it was too expensive and did not meet my needs.

i use the 8tb ssd as an external drive. i first set it up with a usb 3.0 external enclosure. the disk worked fine. i purchased a usb 3.1 external enclosure, actually 3 different brands. when i use this for my ssd, windows 10 only recognizes the first 2tb. contacted samsung for support and was told my drivers for my motherboard and chipset need to be updated. i purchased this laptop 3 weeks ago. its a pretty high end dell workstation. all the drivers have been updated. still my ssd will not work in the usb 3.1 enclosure. samsung

i just hooked this up to my mac and im wondering whats going on - after placing it a mercury elite pro enclosure and hooking it up im not getting any where close to the advertised speeds on my device. in fact its slower than than the traditional hardrive its replacing. im i doing something wrong?
