First of all, I miss the rotating bezel, and I think all of us who owned the S3 Frontier. There are many practical functions, but there was no need for a menu similar to that of 4pple, nor a "similar design". I traded in my S3 Frontier recently because it was no longer connecting to the phone like it used to. But, there was no other option, and sorry for being so sincere.
Sleek, elegant, and amazing features! I usually trade up when a new version is released, but this one is definitely a keeper.
Love the watch its got great graphics? Not sure that the word I'm looking for but it's a lot better than my 5. That said it's not for thin wrist. It's a rather big watch face.
I've had Fitbits for smartwatches and they haven't been all that great. I decided to go with the Ultra and I've never been happier. The look, quality of the screen, and the health features have all been fantastic. To add, I have some severe lung issues and use supplemental oxygen to do various tasks. Through my watch, I learned my O2 sat was dropping to the low 80s while I sleep. Now I make sure to use my O2 while I sleep and it is back up to normal levels. This is a detail my docs wouldn't be able to catch without and overnight sleep evaluation.
Battery life should be better The charger provided doesn't like my USB charging hub, and I have to use my lithium 'jump starter/battery bank' to charge my watch. This is the only device I own that won't charge from my charger. Not using the health stuff, for the most part, so I get a couple days out of it. If I had all the health stuff, and AI turned on, the battery might last a day. If battery life was better, I'd have given it 5 stars. Bixby is handy on this device while cooking. Hold the button, "Set an alarm for seven minutes." It works great! On my phone, I don't use Bixby at all. I don't use the others either. Using it as a BT device to play music in my car, drains the battery fast! (To be fair, my car is a 2018 Ford, and probably doesn't support BTLE.) It's warming up, so I'll be using my ebike and Buds 3 pro more. I'll keep using my phone to play music on the Buds because of the battery drain while sending music over BT. I can use my phone, and charge it at the time, charging from of my ebike, while I ride. It's really disappointing about the battery drain when the watch is sending BT music. Maybe my car isn't BTLE, and the Buds are? Not sure. Haven't tested it yet. I get about 4-5 hours on my Buds connected to my PC, if that helps anyone. The screen is great for typing! I'm shocked at how well the screen works! I'm quite impressed at how well you can type on this tiny little screen! You can Swype too! Every time you take it off, and put it back on, you need to enter your pin. It's probably been twice, that I've had to enter my pin twice. Would I buy this again? Yes. I'm also looking to upgrade to the Ultra 2!
It was a bigger than I expected but so much better than my old galaxy watch 4. Battery life has been great and would definitely buy again
I bought this as an upgrade to my watch for because I was never happy with the Sleep monitoring performance. This one was way worse! Absolutely useless for tracking sleep. Samsung should focus more on getting things right versus getting things to market.
Same issue as the watch 5, heart rate is a total fabrication most of the time. It's funny, you can look at the heart rate app, your heart rate fluctuates up... down.... and all around, but take a peek under the watch and the green light isn't even on, lol. When you choose monitor continuously, it monitors when you're walking, but not when your at rest or it deems you to not be active enough. Nothing worse than fake data. Aside from that, it's an ultra in name, certainly not in battery life.
The watch is full with bugs and does not provide optimal experience. Cheaper competitors have much better products running on Android Platform .
Unfortunately in real life not only does the watch look way worse than the Galaxy Watches that I have but it's not even an upgrade technologically... It's basically the same... And cost almost 3x the price. So disappointing
