Display is awesome !!!

Luffy1500 April 10, 2019

I've pre-ordered this device & have been in love with this since day one. I did face some issues in the start, but it's common considering that it's new in the market. After a month of general tweaking, I have the device which has a vibrant display and awesome performance integrated into one.

Camera is amazing, tons of new small features

Clayton E April 8, 2019

Upgraded from the galaxy s9, so not too much of an upgrade in terms of software. There are alot of small new features that I enjoy, such as the blue light filter custom schedule, changing lock screen wallpapers, etc. Camera is amazing, I love using the ultra-wide camera, and very little detail is lost when zoomed in. Screen is beautiful, hands down the best on the market.

This is why I waited...

I am not the reviewing type but this phone is worth my time to review(S-10 128GB). I am a long time "Fruit" ecosystem resident that wanted to switch. Mostly due to pricing creep on new devices and the fact that they are far different from the company they started out to be(innovative and fresh thinking). I wanted to get a phone with features i wanted and crisp display and that was super user friendly. Samsung, with this phone you have hit it out of the part. I know flagship phones are supposed to be top of the line but this is amazing. The phone build quality and camera in this thing alone are reason to spend the price for it. I do not have extra cash to spend on a device that would not perform so I did research on the next big phone purchase. Samsung has consistently improved on design and past reviews are all positive. Switching from the fruit to the S10 was a breeze. I know its a big leap to jump out of the "fruit bowl" to the other side but Samsung has made it so easy. This phone performs and as a primary device and is worth it. Its a must buy device....do not wait to switch. I know because it is exactly what the fruit folks have been missing.

The Ultimate Android Experience

GottaTestEmAll July 17, 2019

Of all of the current "flagship" devices on the market currently (Google's Pixel, LGs V-Series, and Motorola's attempt to keep up), I've found Samsung to prove superior in almost every way. Most notably, their UI just takes the cake aesthetically and functionally speaking. So long as Samsung continues killing it in the innovation game (ie in-screen fingerprint reader and reverse charging are genius!), they will continue to have a loyal customer in me.

Almost Perfect

R3charged April 2, 2019

This phone is really polished, its hardware is nice, its software is nice, and all in all the hole punch display isn't a bother. I've had the phone for a little over two weeks now and I've gotten used to correctly placing my finger on the fingerprint scanner. I'm coming off of the iphone 6s so I'm still habitually sliding up for wifi and such, but the One UI is intuitive and clean. I am also now enjoying the freedom that comes with android compared to ios, being able to further customize the ui more with a launcher. Although I haven't really used the phone much for gaming (mostly for media consumption) compared to the 6s, the battery life and performance are uncanny. The hole punch doesn't bother me at all mostly because most videos are 16:9 and don't take the space used by the hole punch. When I do watch a movie, it does go into the hole's real estate, but it doesn't really do much in terms of blocking the video and doesn't block important information. My one complaint with the s10 is that there seems to be no dead zone for the edges. Meaning when I am watching youtube (portrait style), I would accidentally click videos, and when I'm on other applications, it would detect my phone hold as a touch and stop me from swiping with my other hand. I hope that in the near future they would add a small dead zone to the sides of the phone (and the maybe the top and bottom) so that applications do not detect accidental touches.

Battery is bad

Emre January 27, 2020

I bought this almost 7 months ago, I thought it had a battery that would hold at least a day with normal use, it didn't hold it, I charge it in the morning to 100% then at the evening when I want it some more, it says 10% wow, do something with the software for the bettery please.

Horrible, short term phone.

Nope2smsng May 16, 2021

In less than a year the phone started shutting itself off randomly, even if not overheated. The screen freezes and there are many bugs. 7 months in and my phone refused to update, demanding I take it to the "samsung" store for repairs. Nope. Nu-uh. The quality is garbage. It's like samsung is ignorant to the fact some people save up for a phone and don't have the cash to splash on random repairs. I started thinking samsung lowered quality of their phones on purpose so you'd HAVE to buy a new one soon. You can't even remove the battery anymore like you used to so it's not like you can fix problems like thosw yourself. Because the brand has become stingy. They lure you in with a solid camera quality & some features, whilst being very, very sneaky about how this phone model in particular is on borrowed time. I got it brand new and it angers me that not even a year in and it shuts itself off & restarts without even overheating. Whilst mentioning overheating, I should mention the fact this phone overheats very quickly depending on what game you want to play. Some big ones it can't handle because it'll feel like you're holding a heating iron. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. I recommend buying a brand that doesn't make you pay extra for their name and doesn't sabotage their phones on purpose so you'd have to give them more money. I know I'm DEFINITELY switching. Never buying this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy S10 i would not consider if you travel outside of cities where their are not many cell towers,i live in rural area and travel 100 miles to work one way, upgrade from Galaxy 8 to Galaxy S10 and have poor signal, drop calls, cannot txt or send photo if R is on signal tower, cannot connect to server, have no service at home address,my S8 never had any of these issues.

Notorious Battery Issue - melted cable connector

Wont buy another Samsung August 21, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Funny, I thought Samsung changed. See pictures, can't imagine what's gonna happen if I didn't wake up @ midnight to check. The connector plastic part has melted and caused the cable hard to get pulled off. Now waiting for Samsung's very-long-time repairing schedule.

Doesn't stop updating, app edge get stuck looping

Sean2707 March 19, 2019

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my phone yesterday, I did a hard reset twice already. It's heating a lot when you charge it, My app egdes don't stop looking for updates and get stuck forever, same for Samsung VR, looking for updates that never exists. I guess i got unlucky and got a defective phone. I am a Honor and Huawei phone poweruser. I miss them already since this is the first time I switch to Samsung, pretty disapointing
