SAMSUNG DW80R5060US - Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got our new Samsung dishwasher a bout 2 weeks ago now and it has been working great. I think the first thing we noticed was how much moire capacity this dishwasher has. With the 3rd rack on top for the silverware there is so much room for heavy pots and pans on the bottom and still enough space for plates too. The Stormwash feature cleaned the baked on cheese and sauce from the lasagna pan on the first try. The middle rack is adjustable so that it can accommodate side plates or make room for tall items on the bottom. It's also perfect for water bottles and glassware. The glassware has come out spotless from every load. We couldn't be happier with this dishwasher.

Worst of the worst do not buy it. Terrible design with racks that were overly engineered, filters that get dirty too often and FC error code that appears too frequently. It is very noisy and who said that the feature to open the door after finishing is convenient ?????

This dishwasher looked great but it leaves the dishes dirty specifically the bowls have residue left on them, the cups are filmed and the silverware does not come clean. So we pre wash everything and have tried many different dish soaps. We had the warranty replace the top tray because the plastic coating was worn away and it was rusting, only to have it happen again in six months from replacement. It is loud to the point we are no longer using it until we leave the room at night. Now it has stopped working completely after two years of ownership, and the warranty department said it is no longer a covered appliance

This is a horrible dishwasher! I'm better off just washing my dishes myself! I actually wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher to make sure no food is left on them. Guess what they come out dirty still. And that 3rd rack is useless if you put items on the middle rack. This dishwasher is a waste of money and time unless you want storage! 1 is too high of a rating in my opinion.

Yet another review based on a broken machine after a few years. As other comments mentioned, our unit had some internal electrical issue and was emitting an odor of burnt plastic. I removed the unit and found water under in the lower electrical compartment. I even found some You Tube videos talking about this issue for the this very machine - but unfortunately no solutions (other than dry it out and see if it works - it didn't for me). Despite the catchy branding name (i.e., StormWatch), when our unit was working we had cleaning performance issues. As others have noted, the dishes often did not seem to get clean - bowls and cups in particular.

Lasted two years. Stopped finishing cycle. Hired appliance repair, said it is a known bug and no fixing it. Also stopped draining. 16 screws to remove and clean filter, still not draining. Throw out after two years, what a waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sensor trash after only three years of very light usage. Samsung Support advice… “It will be cheaper just to buy a new one. Would you like me to add one to your cart?” So the life expectancy of a dishwasher is only three years. Redid my kitchen three years ago and installed all Samsung appliances. I've had to replace the ice maker in the fridge twice and now the dishwasher is not repairable. I will never buy Samsung again.

disappointed with samsung dishwasher. too many tines on the bottom shelf. you have skip every other tine to be able to place plates. waste of space. salad bowls, etc., don't fit there either. always fall to the side. nothing plastic ever drys. plastics are always wet after the drying cycle. worse dishwasher ever purchased. i own several other samsung products that i as very please with but not this one. poor design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i regret buying this samsung dishwasher so much. it does a horrible job cleaning the dishes, no matter how sparsely the unit is loaded. all the parts are plastic, and things like the spray arms tend to fall off without provocation. the 3rd rack is totally useless. although everything comes out with small food particles on the main two racks, the 3rd rack must just sprinkle on the utensils there... because the little bit of soft butter on that knife is still soft and hasn't budged after this machine finishes it's ridiculous 2-3 hour wash cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we purchased this dishwasher last september. we noticed issues with this dishwasher from day 1. we would have to wash our dishes 2-3 times. we thought it was the detergent, so we got cascade and still had issues. its just gotten worse. we litteraly will put a glass in the top rack and i will purposely put something dirty but easily cleaned in and it wont even touch the glass. way too much money to have to wash my dishes before washing my dishes.
