Bought this tablet for my husband and he likes it. It is not the most powerful, but is great for web browsing and reading books. The battery life seems to be pretty decent, we will end up getting a few days of battery with light use. So far, we are both happy with the purchase.
Great sale price made for the decision to buy. Crystal clear video and good audio. 64GB of internal storage and slot to add up to 1TB of external storage. Best advice is to get a name brand Micro SD card. I first tried one of the cheaper off brand 1TB cards. It only recognized approximately 70MB of the files I had copied to it. Bought a 512MB SanDisk and had no problems with it.
Love my new replacement. I have had my Tab4 for many years so this was my upgrade. Tons of space on it.
I got this for my husband for Christmas he loves it sounds great. Listening to music. Only thing I forgot to check for earphone plug. Now we are looking for Bluetooth earbuds. It's great if anyone is wondering. Thanks A
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I wanted to start a podcast. I absolutely love it. I love Samsung. I'm able to connect my S21plus to get. I can text call ect. It also connects with the Bluetooth keyboard and now you have a laptop. All in all I'm very happy and will continue to purchase this brand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Tablet for our daughter. We got it when she was 2 yrs old. Yes I know, young! BUT.... we bought this for the long trips we were frequently making, and occasional family outings (because she is the only kid in a family of both sides full with adults & adult children. She gets bored... cries, & I don't blame her, she wants someone to play with her, but the grown-ups sure don't want to. What I LOVE about this, is the Samsung Kids! I can put a time limit on it, I lock it so she can't get out of it, & I have some learning apps. She absolutely loves it. We haven't had any issues with it. We've had it for a year now, (she's now 3) & it's a great product. She uses it once in a while only when these outings happen, & recently on a timed limit during the mornings using a learning app. It just comes so handy, that I know she's not doing stuff or watching things she's not supposed to, & she's not using it all day because of that lovely parental control time limit! If you're thinking about getting one for your child, this is the one!
Very fast, long lasting battery life and overall very pleased with it. Why 4 stars rather than 5? Because some bean counter decided that they could save on the costs by including a charger cord that's only 2' long. Makes you wonder what else they skimped on inside in order to save a nickle.
It's great for everything the only issue I had was when I bought it I thought I could use a sim card in it. But it's wifi only besides that it's great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a decent choice for someone on a budget who wants a tablet to do some basic stuff like shopping, stream video, browse social media, or play some basic games. It has a nice and large HD screen and it's battery will last all day long which is hard to find in this price range. I got the lower model with 32GB of internal memory thinking I'd just install an SD card which it has a slot for unlike a lot of new devices nowadays, but I wish I would have got the one with more memory because i can't really fit a lot of apps on the device, even when moving some apps to the SD card there really isn't a lot of space after the operating system and a few pictures. This isn't a flagship tablet so you won't get a 120hz display, great multitasking, snappy and responsive app switching or be able to play a graphic demanding game but you can do other things very well.
Back in the day this may have been a good tablet. I purchased only a few months ago and it runs extremely choppy. New updates from Samsung have made this a really bad tablet. The operation functions extremely slow after the new updates kick in almost as if Samsung is trying to phase this model out.
