Really pleased with this phone! Have had Motorola's for years and was a little apprehensive about changing. Of course our favorite salesman, Rob, reassured me this phone was a lot like what I have been using and he was right!! He knows his business!! It is PERFECT for what I use my phone for. Loving the LONGER battery life is a PLUS.
when I first brought home the reception from my house sucked. I had to stand by my kitchen window to make or receive any calls. downloaded a app that showed it was not connecting to the closest cell tower went into settings turned off LTE (5G) turning the phone into a 3G or4G device. it then worked through out my house as did my previous phone I have since repeated changing the LTE setting on day 3 and after 1 week with the same results of poor reception just to make sure it was not just a one day issue Bottom line the 5G SERVICE CURRENTLY SUCKS as it appears to only work from certain towers & my new phone seems to be good as long as I use settings to downgrade it to a 3G/4G device not exactly what I am paying for.
Sometimes my volume has a mind of its own. For example sometimes my ring tone will just go silent. Also, sometimes when I'm walking and my phone is in my pocket a loud and obnoxious ap will annoyingly open on its own. Some instructional language is like Greek to me.
I'm still not sure that I like this phone. It's harder for me to navigate. I also don't like that it will disconnect an incoming call if you happen to touch the side buttons while picking it up. I had the same issue with my last Samsung so maybe I need to try a different brand.
apps I haven't clicked on, keep coming up, and then there are apps like tictok and twitter that I will never ever use, also the volume keeps getting lowered without me doing it, causing me to miss important calls
Phone is too quiet for playing music. My j7 aura connected better in bad service areas. Hard to hear text notifications. Phone is too long. Was talked into this phone by salesmen. There apparently was a reason they had a bunch of them in stock at the Ellsworth Maine store
It doesn't have a notification light to let you know if you missed a call or text. This requires you to turn on "always on display" which eats your battery. Really annoying.
Do not buy it. It constantly drops calls all up and down the road. In certain areas I get a message that says you are not registered on a network and you can only make emergency calls. Today is May 14, 2001 tomorrow Saturday, May 15th I am going to US cellular about this phone. The purpose of having a phone is to be able to use when I need it. US cellular should be paying the customer for the aggravation and headache. Because that's all I have had every since I have had the phone. I have been with US cellular for years and I have had many phones and this is his sorriest piece of crap I have ever had. If someone recommends the galaxy a 71 to you run by hell.
The phone blows. It's overly complicated. Can't uninstall stupid apps I have zero interest in. Features that should have settings don't. The end.
I b think this phone sucks. It keeps locking me out of it for days at a time. Am ready to trade it 8n forba new phone. I have only had it for a month and a couple days. I wish LG stoped making phone!!!!!.
