i picked this up on black friday. screen is amazing, very fast and is so light weight, you can't believe it until you pick one up. internet with wifi6e works perfect. mine also came with a 1 tb ssd. build quality is as good as it gets 0r needs to be. but the screen is just great. plenty bright for everything we need. only weak spot is the speakers are a little weak. mine update out of the box, and that really helped. highly recommended if you are looking for a premium laptop. i also own an apple mac pro m1 and i think this one is everybit as good and fun to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the mystic blue just to differentiate from other laptops in my family. This is different is so many ways! First of all, it is lightweight (less than 2 lbs) and feels lighter than my mug of coffee! It has a screen that is visible in direct sunlight so I can work outside without issues. Once you set it up you receive emails offering the windows 10 and Microsoft one drive setup. It also lasts 21 hours on a single charge! The Cortana help is the best perk. All in all, perfection!
seriously it's a great laptop, the screen is amazing. it's not dim at all which i was afraid of. the battery is alright. the laptop is pretty fast. i'm using it with ubuntu 21.04, the only issue is the backlit keyboard does not turn off on ubuntu. other than everything is great. i love it has 2 ssd slots, so i added mine right away. two things i wish were better, replaceable ram/wireless card, and better drivers support and support page over all. thank you!
first, i'll start by saying, i'm coming from a samsung notebook flash i bought two years ago. i bought it for school and it's worked well for basic tasks. i decided to upgrade to something more powerful and modern. enter the galaxy book pro! i bought the 13.3" blue model with 8gb ram and 256gb ssd. i'm loving it so far! it's so much faster than my pentium n5000 powered notebook flash. the fingerprint scanner is super fast and reliable (which wasn't the case with the flash). i'm also digging the ultra light weight and thinness. i would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a new laptop (samsung fan or not). the only small gripe i have with the device is that it's a fingerprint magnet. but, there aren't many smooth finishes that won't show finger prints.
at first i was skeptical about this laptop, having watched some reviews online about the common issues, mainly the trackpad pressure clicks. i have to say, unless you put 50lbs pressure on the sides of the pad, you will not get an accidental click. i mean, you really have to put some weight there to get that going, and to be honest, still prefer this track pad over the dell 2021 xps15, which i also own. a spec of dust lands on that thing and the cursor is everywhere. with the book pro, true to touch whatever the case. one thing i dont really like is the speakers. they arent as loud and clear as the xps15, however, i use either bluetooth buds or speakers so it's not as big an issue for me, but keep that in mind before buying.
recently, i walked out of apple world. galaxy book pro is so much better and smarter! every day, i am learning new features. since i am a dentist, dental world is more compatible with android. very easy to use. omg the battery power lasts forever! my only regret is why didn't switch earlier!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Galaxy Book Pro 15”, i7, 512GB in mystic sliver and have zero regrets on my purchase decision. The Galaxy book is sleek and stylish. I think the 15” size is perfect to take on the go but big enough to see what you are doing. Setup was extremely easy and the prompts for the most popular apps and websites made my computer fully integrated to my life with minutes. The finger print unlock is an added bonus too. The key board feels natural to type on and the mouse pad is sensitive to the touch which makes navigating very easy. There is also a thunderbolt port which makes for easy connectivity to a docking station. The computer had no lag and the screen resolution is fantastic for movie quality. I would highly recommend this computer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop does everything I throw at it, has an amazing finish, great trackpad, great display... However there are a few things that need to be changed; the display should've been of higher resolution and the build quality is just really bad, the trackpad can be triggered without even touching it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It should be against the Evo spec to put 8GB in a device called 'Pro', especially the i7 model. The NVME seems to make up for it though, and ultimately the device has done very well. This device prioritizes portability above all else. If you share that priority, then it's excellent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All is good about this laptop except for the touchpad, which does not click if you put the laptop on your lap or any soft surface. The reason is that bottom tray beneath the laptop is not hard enough to allow for touchpad clicks.
