[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for over 2 weeks now and I'm thoroughly impressed. This is the quickest laptop I've ever set up - opened the box - no unnecessary stuff inside and set up took minutes! … I quickly uninstalled the pre-loaded antivirus and added my preferred option and was good to go. I've been using this to do business paperwork on, editing photos and browsing the internet. It's smaller screen wise than my other laptop but it's so much more portable due to it not being unnecessarily bulky - yet feels sturdy and safe to take out the house. The only thing that could be improved upon is the fingerprint recognition button for unlocking the laptop - 9/10 it doesn't recognise me and I have to input my code - this isn't a massive issue but I hope this issue will improve with an update in the future. Speed wise, it's great - it's much quicker than my existing system and it's now my go to laptop due to how much quicker everything runs. I'm not an android person but this is a great laptop and I'm really impressed with it.
Samsung 14inch is the perfect companion for business, I decided on this against a Microsoft Laptop based on the very high quality screen and still having exemplary power to run all my business app simultaneously. The size and solid metallica build along with a great keyboard on par with a macbook air, but the Samsung has the additonal features I wanted with mutliple interfaces for USB C/Thunderbolt/USB A.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The book 3 pro is in a league of its own. Its compact, yet powerful. The laptop is really light and easy to carry around. From switching it on, you can instantly tell that the screen is faultless and amazing. Its really crisp, sharp and smooth at the same time. Its really quick with the intel 13th gen processor and 8gb ram. Apps open up really quickly. Playing Fortnite was smooth and I had no issues at all. Screen is on the slightly small side compared to other laptops I have had but with the sharpness of the display you tend to forget the screen size. The only downside to the laptop is that after only a few mins of use, I could hear the fan going which was annoying. I could understand if this happened when either gaming or watching a movie but just browsing around the laptop the fan should have not kicked in, Would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a portable and powerful machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I opened the lid I know this would be a top class laptop. What I didn't expect was just how good the screen would be. The OLED display just pops with colour and deep blacks. It makes reading text a dream but wait until you play movies on this device, it's amazing, who needs a tv? Amazingly, the sound outperforms even this with a full Dolby Atmos support meaning that it actually feels the action is all around you, it has to be heard to be believed. The new 13th gen Intel processor means everything runs smoothly, too, it can cope with any office task and even some light gaming. All of this in a sleek, stylish looking case which is both lightweight and slim.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop simply oozes class. It is well built, incredibly lightweight and unlike the first Book I owned comes with a good length 2m charging lead. To date the battery is extremely impressive but I'm not sure of the accuracy of the status monitor. At 91% it was telling me I had 6 hour 40m remaining but by 90% it was saying 2hr 45 and at 89% was back to 6hr 38 m. At the time I was browsing Chrome and playing music via Youtube. The keyboard is very receptive and the touchpad is larger than any I've had before on a laptop of this size. Super easy to set up and link with my phone. Where it really comes into its own is its entertainment qualities. The sound and graphics are simply phenomenal. No need to attach speakers; the sound is crisp, full bodied (sorry if I'm making it sound like a wine review) and absolutely no issue playing loud. The graphics are also on another level with vivid colours and pinpoint sharp text. The only issue for me is the highly reflective screen meaning you need to position it with care to avoid it turning into a mirror rather than a tv screen I would have liked a touchscreen at this price point but that's a personal opinion rather than an issue with this piece of kit, which has exceeded my already high expectations. Highly recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial reaction was wow, what a beautiful slimline sleek design. It's lightweight and definitely portable. It's very delicate which is my only concern, compared to other laptops I've had that are physically hard and sturdy. Set up was easy and took about 15 minutes, but also linked to my Samsung phone which is excellent, I can sync the apps and even browse history, passwords etc. The screen is bright and beautiful, love the live wallpapers and widgets. Takes abit if getting used to if you've not used a Book like this before. Excellent sound and I have yet to explore this beautiful laptop further. For the price point I thought we should have got a case or a bag to carry it in, as I wouldn't want it to get scratched, needs good storage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well its arrived and for some reason even the box arriving was the most exciting thing regarding new technology. I haven't had long with it but impressed with what I've seen so far. Tomorrow a proper set up and exploration of it will begin.......... Now on to the review after some testing and general usage. Nice quality laptop. For the price tag it is what you would expect and hope for i think. Quick to charge up. Very easy to set up. Easily within half an hour i was ready to go and keep working. For a person not at the top of the tech savvy tree, it was almost scary how easily things were available on it because of it linking up with other devices and the account thereof etc. I stress that's a personal thing. Good on battery efficiency and again, speedy to recharge. Clear screen, good size keyboard. Overall the size of the whole device feel right. I felt that the mouse pad wasnt as sensitive / reactive as i expected it to be. A few times i was caught out thinking i'd moved the cursor and found it hadnt at all. I shall look into it being able to be adjusted. I tend to use office, word, spreadsheet type documents so i asked my teenage son to have a try on it as his usage is very different to mine. He thought that the speakers were brilliant and the screen and graphics very, very good. He definitely gave it an impressive thumbs up and I'm guessing if i can't find it then i'll know where to look!! I haven't had a laptop from Samsung before and i was impressed with it and have high hopes for it lasting me for a number of years. Whether i would be happy to pay the retail price again is another matter, but for someone who has different uses to me that this device perhaps delivered may see and appreciate the extra value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 14" i5 8GB 256GB WiFi and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. Firstly, the design is sleek and modern, with a slim profile and lightweight construction that makes it easy to carry around. The 14" display is vibrant and clear, with impressive color accuracy and sharpness. The backlit keyboard is comfortable to type on, with well-spaced keys that make typing a breeze. In terms of performance, the laptop is fast and responsive, with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM that ensure smooth and efficient multitasking. The 256GB SSD provides ample storage space for all my files and documents, and the WiFi connectivity is strong and reliable. My only gripe with the laptop is with the decision to only offer 8gb RAM on the base model. 8gb on a 2023 laptop at this price seems criminal. Despite this, the 13th gen processor does offer extremely efficient control to back this up. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for several hours on a single charge. This, combined with its extremely portable form factor, make it an incredible companion for travelling. I own a Samsung phone, and the way these devices link up seamlessly is fantastic. I especially like the dual screen function! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 14". It is a powerful and versatile machine that meets all my computing needs, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new laptop.
The device is incredibly light and portable, with a far better trackpad than the previous generation. The screen is gorgeous and the battery life is good for a Windows laptop. However the integrated graphics are a complete waste of time and a let down for a laptop that costs this much. Other brands have managed to fit some form of dedicated graphics (doesn't have to be mind blowing) to theirs to make it feel far more powerful
Would not buy Samsung Book ever again. Once out of warranty, the motherboard will die on you. Im extremely good with my computers, barely used it besides for websites and classes, and now Im out of money being a first adopter. It's sad too, because I really loved this laptop this whole time.
