I love all the features and how customizable this phone is. My wife has the latest iPhone and is always jealous and commenting on how much more my phone does than hers. The only thing I've noticed about the s20 ultra and my previous galaxy phones, is that the screen doesn't hold up as well as my previous ones. I keep my phones in an otter box and keep a screen protector installed. This phone screen cracked pretty bad after dropping it on the ground. My last galaxy s10 was dropped dozens of times and still looked brand new when the case was removed. Other than that, absolutely love it!
I have had this phone for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It is fast, has a great camera, sounds good, great display, reliable, etc. I switched from a Pixel 4a to this phone and have zero regrets. The Samsung UI is very customizable and works better than I thought it would. I have never been happier with a phone.
I've had my phone 1 year. I put a bumper case on it, and have dropped it several times and no problems with the glass. Never had issues with the touchscreen either. The phone is amazing, especially for the price! Photos are great as well and it still received regular updates. Highly recommend.
When on a budget you don't expect much from flagship phones. S20 FE isn't a bad phone, but it needs some sort of updates on the video quality for sure. It's fuzzy when you send in messages, also battery drains rather quick...phone runs decent just small things that are rather a annoyance.
This phone was widely praised by reviewers for its impressive specs and low price, but I hated its real-world use. It has been plagued by touchscreen issues that took months to partially solve. For that reason, I could not install a screen protector - it hindered the touchscreen performance. A while later, I took out my phone to discover that the screen cracked. I do not recall any fall, and it was in a good phone case. Turns out the screen is thin and prone to crack for many users. Also, do not be fooled by the 5G claims. I get the same or worse connection in the middle of a city in California with my S20FE than I had with a 4G phone. Just... do not buy this.
I had my S8 plus for 3 or 4 years. I decided I'd like an upgrade. This phone sucks. It is constantly predicting off the wall words and correcting sentences that make perfect sense! Putting in words that make nonsense. When I typed it, it was correct. The phone will change it to some crud before I realize it, I've already sent the message. Because, you know, of course the phone is "smart", right? I don't think so. And I don't think machines will be taking over if it is constantly correcting my "correct" mistakes. I literally have had multiple instances of incorrect spelling. Seems like the keyboard gets stuck, too. It's done it 6 times since I've been writing this. So not happy with this piece of crap. Doesn't matter what I say. This phone is a disgrace to the Galaxy name. The s8 was way, way better. Way better. Would chose that over this "upgrade" any day. It doesn't correct when needed and it correct when not needed. It's aggravating. So aggravating. And the word prediction is absolutely horrible. A smart phone is supposed to get used to your writing styles. This one never has and never will. I have big hands from working in a kitchen. It never, ever corrects "ypu" to "you". Ever. My hands are big. But the s8 would fix it. This one...nope. always ypu. Always! I do not like this phone.
Where do I even start. Owned 4 different generations of Galaxy S phones including this garbage, excluding family members. Galaxy S devices owned: Galaxy S, Galaxy S3 (white and blue), Galaxy S5 (gold), Galaxy S8+ (Gray & Blue), Galaxy S10+ (blue), Galaxy S20 FE 5G UW (Blue & Blue). Lets just say I really regret getting this device and letting go of my S8+. I never experienced touch-screen issues on a Galaxy before this device, but rather on a Pantech Hotshot prior to me getting my first smartphone (GS3 in Blue). Next, I still don't understand one bit, how in the world the aluminum edge gets damaged in an otterbox type case, and is taken really great care. It then corrupted one of my MicroSD cards that I have been using since my GS5 where I lost all of my data (I know some SD cards lasted longer). When making phone calls, I could barely hear people talking. Also, from Day 1, this device was overheating from charging (not even doing a full charge here; my main complaint on my GS8+ after cracking both sides of the phone that were glass after 3 yrs 3 months of ownership). Then very recently, this device acted like half my vehicle's speakers were blown and need replacing. That was my last straw with this device. Swapped out the sim from this and put it in an iPhone 12 Pro that I was originally using for work purposes, but is now my daily driver until either the S22 Ultra comes with a MicroSD card or the iPhone 14 Pro comes out. I really regret and hate this device. Stay away!
My very first Galaxy was great. That was many years ago. This Galaxy is very disappointing. The microphone is awful. Misunderstands most of what I say. Spells things that are not even words. Useless. Texting is awkward. Keys so close together that typing fast is frustrating. Need to type very slowly so the right keys are touched. Supposed to be a 5G phone but 5G unreliable. I'm not sure if it's the phone or my cell service provider. Will be talking to them soon but I really regret choosing this phone.
I would have used my Galaxy S7 forever, but it is a 3G. Our cell phone provider notified us that they were no longer supporting 3G phones. I really depended on the blinking light notification for texts and missed calls. It was so helpful when the phone has to be silenced or if I am away from it and miss hearing the one time audio notification. It also helps people with hearing loss to be able to see a notification that there is an unread text. It is so disappointing that the blinking light notification was discontinued. Another thing, the Galaxy S7 had very nice good sized emojis that this phone does not. I wish Samsung would make a 5G phone with the features that the Galaxy S7 had. I regret purchasing this phone.
I regret choosing this phone. I had the S7 edge for many years and loved it. So much that I bought a 2nd one. When I needed to upgrade I selected the 20 FE and regret it. The glass cracked on all 4 edges simply by setting down the phone. I did not drop it! So now it's not even a month old and I have cracks. I did buy a case protector but the glass is still not protected.. It also does not have a message indicator light notifying when you have a message. I have to wake up the phone to see if I have any messages.
