As I am using this phone it works very well I have had issues before with it but they are fixed updates Come and my phone is fully updated I just wish it had more space to use because I already ran out by only owning a single game and not to many photos.
I received my s22 Tuesday, setup my phone Wednesday and it's been extremely warm even since. I've turned the phone on from being off for more that 7 or 8 hours and it will start to get warm within minutes of being on and this is before I turn on any apps. I've cleared the cache partition, set the battery on optimized avoided using the phone while charging it if I can, but it just gets extremely warm. So, far I'm not very happy with the phone, because my s9 didn't have any of these problems within in the first 3 years and with me having to do all this troubleshooting just so the phone can do what it's supposed to and seeing all of these posts about the phone overheating, I'm concerned about ordering a new one. I've always bragged about my s9 to people, but as of right now, I can't brag about this phone. If this is just an unlucky draw and the next one turns out fine, then I can change my opinion, but until then, so far it's not the best phone.
Just got this phone. Now after reading reviews im a little worried. I do like it. But it doesnt wow me. Battery hasnt been horrible for me. Camera is nice. Love the rose color. But again my text messages arent showing as being read. Ive done everything i can and its still not working. Also the app icons dont change like other phones do when you set a picture to wallpaper. Its weird. Very disappointing
Wouldn't be a bad phone if it wasn't full of Samsung bloat ware. The fingerprint reader works half the time (yes, I have the sensitivity turned up). Battery falls short. No sd memory card option. Get rid of the garbage bloat ware and it might be a decent phone
I bought this phone as my memory on my Galaxy S9+ was running out. However, I don't notice any remarkable improvements. In fact, I would say the quality has gone down. For instance, the S22+ turns off randomly and at inopportune times. When I want to take a picture and open the app, the phone will shut off and can't restart for many minutes afterwards (up to 30 mins); so much for capturing the moment. Also, while charging, the phone will turn off. Want directions? Hope you brought your old physical maps because any map app will turn the phone off. The phone is just prone to turning off. I would not recommend.
had the phone for over a year. Hate it. S21 worked better than this junk. Not a "smart " phone at all. Ongoing problems include but not limited to; changing screens when pressing icon, random applications opening, camera opens and takes photos-I come back to phone and camera is on. Google maps providing unusefull instructions-today it told me about traffic 4 miles ahead, my exit was in 1 mile, insisted I'm on best route. Routes me off highway and back on again. Typing contacts, lookin for "john" get results with names starting with C and have joh in name. John was last result. Typing anything prompts poor prediction. Never word that fits grammatical structure. I have all updates, reset phone 3 times and consulted carrier multiple times. I'm IT certified Specialist with 15 + years experience. I know my way around any and all computers. Phone /tablet /Linux /iOS /Windows to name a few both Hardware /software. My S22 is garbage. Samsung does make the best storage products available. 8 years testing 3 dozen storage products, 0 failures. Storage 5 🌟. S22 0 🌟.
The camera on this fun is absolute garbage. I'm so disappointed in this version. Always been a Samsung fan and now I'm thinking of making a switch because this phone takes worse pictures than any phone I've owned. It over processes. Blurs. And the flash stopped working in some apps.
If I could give it no stars, I would. This atrocity has several downsides that make it not worth having at all. Along with the lack of an SD card slot, there are other issues I've found with this device. Figuring I could manage temporarily without the SD card slot while I work toward repairing my current device, I got the S22. In the time I had it, I noticed the battery was a joke (and not a funny one either). Not only did this device drain the battery at an intense rate, I also found that continuing with a phone call while the phone was on the charger was problematic. The phone would get quite hot quickly. This phone is better off being recalled. My S20+ has a much better battery, the expandable memory, and it can be used on the charger without overheating. I have an S8+ that also has a good battery in it (since I replaced it), an SD card slot, and it also doesn't have the overheating issue. Samsung really needs to get it together and go back to manufacturing quality devices such as the S20 series phones. The S22 is far below the level of quality Samsung has become known for and needs to be recalled and replaced with something better. I will never recommend the S22 to anyone.
Not at all a fan. first off, it is a battery hog, terrible battery life, second it has a great interface for headphones, but no headphone jack, third it is not very durable, a small drop and the screen cracked, i had my lgv40 for 2+ years and nary a scratch! Also it is a heat sync this thing gets hot! The fingerprint sensor work half the time and i have to reset the network at least once a week.
This is by far the worst phone I have had. It's slow, poor battery life, glitchy and has horrendous cell reception. I got one for my girlfriend and I. Both of us have these issues despite having different carriers. Calls don't go through, phone randomly loses cell signal and data in known good reception areas and it's just overall a major let down. It's as bad as my old, abused and worn out galaxy s8 that has been a real trooper.
