i dont like reviews after a week, but after upgrading from the cheapest A series this phone is night and day different and in the better way. so much faster and smoother processing and great camera. The only downfall is the biometrics finger scanner. my old phone had it on the side where the power button was and it was awesome this one is on the screen and i am not able to get it to work with a screen on, even after adjusting the screen sensitivity. other than that i love the esim and the transition using smart switch was fast and awesome. i still have alot to digure out but i definitely recommend it. And would buy again. i will update this review in the future if needed. 6/11/26. I didnt get the S26 because the upgrades just disnt justify it plus the S25 was. made out of titanium instead of aluminum.

A warning to all who think they're going to save a little bit of money by buying an unlocked phone from Walmart (instead of Verizon), suitable for Verizon: Yes the phone indeed works on the Verizon network, however you will soon find out that the resident Android software does not include "Wi-Fi Calling" and it is unclear if that can be rectified by changing SIM cards or other means. you will have to rely on your local cell phone tower in order to make phone calls, 100% of the time.

Buyer beware! The phone was in good condition but I was unable to activate it because the lMEI number was registered in the wrong region. ( United Arab) Due to this fact I couldn't return or exchange it at Walmart customer service department. The Associate who realized the mistake, from Walmart.com was sympathetic but after trying to return the phone twice I filed a grievance with my funding source . The error was on the Seller.(Hot Deals) 3 days later still no resolution! Use EXTREME CAUTION.

I purchased this phone online and it was delivered by FedEx on Sat. Feb, 28. The phone - according to your Ad and your Distributor (Creo Distributors LLC) claimed it's 100% UNLOCKED! When I received the phone, the Setup Instructions says it was LOCKED to the Verizon Carrier. I took it to My Carrier T-Moble and they were unable to UNLOCK the phone. I went the local Walmart Store and they couldn't resolve the problem either. They recommended taking it the the nearby Verizon Store, which I did. They were UNABLE TO UNLOCK THE PHONE AS WELL! I called the Walmart Cerntral Service Desk Line (800-925-6278) and they sent me Instructions to Return the Phone to the local Walmart Store, where they will (and I quote) "Initiate a refund, once the Return Barcode (they provided) have been scanned!" The Phone was returned to the Local Walmart the same day (Wed. March 4, '26) where the Barcode was scanned and I was provided an Receipt. IT'S BEEN 4 DAYS SINCE THE PHONE HAVE BEEN RETURNED and I have not seen or recieved any information, that the Phone have been received/returned - and that a REFUND IS IN PROGRESS!!! I'm totally upset %26 disappointed in Walmart's handling of this process (for a rather expensive Phone) and I need answers, regarding the STATUS of my Refund. I DIDN'T PAY THE DISTRIBUTOR, I PAID WALMART, SO THEY ARE THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE ISSUING MY REFUND!

I purchased the Galaxy S25 Ultra expecting a premium device, but what I received was nothing short of a nightmare. Within a day of struggling with compatibility issues, I contacted Samsung support only to be told this model was never even intended for use in the United States. I bought this phone from Walmart, a trusted and reputable retailer, so I expected legitimacy and peace of mind. Instead, I was left with a useless international model and no warning whatsoever on the product page. This feels like a complete betrayal of customer trust. I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed with Walmart for allowing this kind of misleading listing. For a $1,000 device, this level of service is unacceptable. Avoid this product at all costs if you're in the U.S.!

Don't buy if you want a US model phone. This phone is a global/international model phone. There is a difference but the seller did not (at the time of this review) Include it in the description. If the Model number ends in "U1" then it is a US unlocked phone model. If the model number ends in "U", it is a US network carrier phone model. If it is "DS" or anything else, you are on the global/international model. There are apps you will be restricted from using because they are for US model phones.

Item came new in box but once unboxed, I realized, everything about the phone was fake. S pen and sim card tray were simply drawn in place and couldn't come out. Mind you, the phone couldn't turn on either. Returned same day I received it. Thank God, I got my money back.

Hotdeals is a Walmart marketplace vendor, and they are god-awful. Do your homework. I ordered a Samsung S 25 ultra 512 GB unlocked. The vendor omitted that they were selling the international version (see photo of model specs SM-S938B/DS) which is not fully compatible in the United States. I ordered from the United States and had it delivered to an address in the United States. No honest vendor would have shipped the international version without first confirm confirming. Scroll through the reviews of this vendor and you will see multiple people complaining about the exact same problem across different products. I wish I had read vendor reviews and not just product reviews.

I havenot received the phone, plus when I reported that I was told to contact the carrier which the carrier also asked me to request the seller. Moreover I was told to request my bank for dispute, never seen this kind of service and all the hassle. Still trying to get the refund. I wouldn't recommend any kind of online order from Walmart.

My experience with Hot Deals has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had, and buyers need to be warned. I purchased a Samsung S25 ultra device that was clearly advertised and sold as NEW, but what I received was an opened, previously used phone. After contacting Samsung directly and providing them with the serial/IMEI information, they confirmed that this device had already been activated and used approximately 3 months before it was sold to me. That means Hot Deals knowingly sold a used device while representing it as brand new. To make matters worse, the phone they shipped was also the international version, not the U.S. version that was expected from the listing. This is a serious misrepresentation because international models differ in warranty coverage, software support, compatibility, resale value, and consumer expectations. This was not a small mistake — this was outright deceptive selling. Because of their dishonesty, I have spent HOURS every single day contacting customer service, repeating the same explanation over and over, trying to get a simple resolution for a problem they created. The amount of time, frustration, and stress this seller caused is unacceptable. What is even more disappointing is that Walmart continues allowing this seller to operate on their marketplace despite these practices. Walmart customer service was largely useless, offered no meaningful action against the seller, and left me to deal with the consequences of Hot Deals’ false advertising and misconduct on my own. So buyers should understand this clearly: • Item sold as new may actually be used • Product listing may not match what is shipped • Seller wastes your time and avoids accountability • Walmart does not properly protect customers from dishonest marketplace sellers I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from Hot Deals unless you want to risk receiving used or misrepresented merchandise and then spend days fighting to get help. This seller should not be trusted, and Walmart should seriously reconsider allowing businesses like this to continue selling on its platform. I haven't get my money back and its been a month now since i return the device!!!! Scammers!!!
