more hype than go
for a car it's worthless has no range maybe for something totally outside or something not inside of something maybe but even then doubtful you must have certain cell phones in the immediate area and that's like hitting and missing so no I would not buy this item again

The tracking feature does not function consistently, as it often goes hours without providing a location update. On one occasion, it failed to update for 24 hours, incorrectly showing that my child was still at school even after they had returned home. I would not recommend this product.

9 Days for battery to die...junk
What a piece of crap. i got my galaxy tag 2 brand new on 6/18. Its not 6/27 and im having to change the battery. Anything would be a step up from this. i love Samsung, but this device is a total flop.

This Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a great solution for tracking keys, but it is not reliable if you intend to track a child on their way to and from school. Even in a highly populated area where I expected high connectivity with nearby Samsung Galaxy devices, the tracking performance was inconsistent. Please note that this device is not compatible with iPhones, which further limits its effectiveness in areas where many people use Apple products. I would not recommend this for critical tracking needs.

Thought it would be more accurate, like when you order a delivery and you can track it and actually see the little car moving and now how close it is and all that.

SmartTag2
Attaching this has given me such peace of mind. The alert volume when trying to locate my key fob could be considerably louder, but that could possibly just be my phone setting. ill have to check. Considering a replacement fob is around $500, I feel much better now that I have this option

Location alarm is barely audible, wish it was louder. Otherwise a good product. Setup wasn't too bad.

Scam
This device ended up charging $38 onto our credit card %26 having to enter info in the app at set up. They stated there would be no charge and then we immediately received the bank notification.

Samsung tag is so much better tracking than the crappy tags you get from amazon. Amazon tags are a wasted of money.
