I bought this tablet as a gift for myself. Was able to do so online.....which allowed me to compare features, sizes, and prices.....with other similar items. After I completed my online purchase I received a text that I could pick it up at the store. Too easy. I love it. It's bigger than my smartphone and smaller than my laptop....just perfect to tuck into a pocket or bag. Comes loaded with Microsoft Office. Already my favorite gift this year!
I shopped and compared and had analysis paralysis.. it really depends on your needs and WANTS! At the price offered, this 2 year old technology is just fine for me. The resolution is very good, yes there is better, there is faster, there are more storage....so what? Price vs. WANTS vs needs? This tablet is excellent! I use a Samsung phone & TV, this product is a quality piece of equipment. I'd buy it again.
The Tab a iS a great little tablet. Fast, easy to use, and great clarity. The transaction made at the Oswego Illinois store was stellar. Unlike some stores who make you wait for online purchases in long line with layaway people this store has its own dedicate area for online purchases. Quick and easy!
I treated myself with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A , I absolutely love it! It's easy to hold and operate. I take with me everywhere to conduct business. I definitely recommend this item.
I ordered online and picked it up the very next day. Everything about this tablet is what I wanted and order
I love this tablet. It is great because of the Android 5 and can take up to 128 gigabyte micro SD card. Works fast and has Microsoft office apps.
Nice tablet, Walmart.com makes it easy to shop
My husband loves this tablet. He especially likes all the features it comes with.
I have a galaxy so. Also, I have been using a galaxy tab with 8gb, but I was running out of space. When I found this tablet I knew it was the right one-samsung and android. The price was the best and included so many features.
This is a good tablet for an introduction to tablet use, and it does provide some conveniences over a desktop or laptop. The screen is easy to read even when you have the brightness set at a reduced level. The Wi-Fi only Internet access is not a big issue for me. It's not big enough that I'm going to buy a mobile hotspot unit to use with the tablet. Now, the bad. And this first one was a shock, there is no LED flash - not even for the rear facing camera. The screen resolution (1024 x 768) is acceptable, unless you enlarge the pictures much - then it's a disappointment. Some of the videos I played were a little jumpy; on a couple videos the screen "fuzzed-over" through most of the video. These played fine on my S6 & PC. There is a slot for a 128GB memory card, but don't run out and buy a big card. I'm using a 32GB card I had in an old S4. None of the apps I've download use the card as a default storage location. I haven't found a way to set the tablet (upgraded to Android 6.0.1) to use the card as default storage. So plan on doing a lot of moving files around if you download much. The battery life seems to be good (only had it 2 weeks), unfortunately you can't use a wireless charging pad with this tablet. The screen protectors I've found are pricey, they run $35-$50; an Otterbox case is around $60. I'm using a $15 Lifeworks Folio Case, unfortunately there's no screen protection when it's open in use. Recommend to a friend? Yes, if you want to experiment, to see if you could really benefit by having a tablet. But if you already know you need a tablet, I'd look for something else.
