This tablet is a beautiful color and I got it so I could read my books on. I read 5 to 7 ebooks a month. I am getting older so it's getting harder to see on my phone so this tablet is perfect for reading. It also came with a case and a stylus. I love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this tablet as soon as it released. Being a Samsung enthusiast, I had high hopes and was really excited! This tablet definitely didn't disappoint! I haven't had a tablet for years now as I wanted to wait for Android to really catch up with productivity and the true usefulness of having a tablet vs phone/computer. I've been really impressed with what this tablet can handle so far! I mainly use it for work and keeping all of my notes/apps up and going. The multitasking has been amazing to jump back and forth between. The only thing I wish was that the S-Pen was more secure with how it docks to the tablet. I was able to overcome this with the keyboard case and storing the pen inside the case while I'm traveling, and then connecting it to the back while I have it charging at night. The battery on this has also been pretty great so far and is able to get me through a day with some pretty heavy use!
dislike the fact that it can only be used in the horizontal position. like to do the free jigsaw puzzles from side to side when needed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is a decent choice for someone on a budget who wants a tablet to do some basic stuff like shopping, stream video, browse social media, or play some basic games. It has a nice and large HD screen and it's battery will last all day long which is hard to find in this price range. I got the lower model with 32GB of internal memory thinking I'd just install an SD card which it has a slot for unlike a lot of new devices nowadays, but I wish I would have got the one with more memory because i can't really fit a lot of apps on the device, even when moving some apps to the SD card there really isn't a lot of space after the operating system and a few pictures. This isn't a flagship tablet so you won't get a 120hz display, great multitasking, snappy and responsive app switching or be able to play a graphic demanding game but you can do other things very well.
its pretty slow, apps crash. purchased for kids for plane rides and plan failed. these are low quality.
I ordered this item for my mother for mother's day. The case cover did not fit the tablet and the stylus was cheap. Very disappointed in my purchase. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
My new tablet was defective, it did not work after charging. would not turn on at all.
my purchase was delivered on the right date, only to the wrong address. I'm very grateful my neighbors are honest. Around 6 pm. yesterday, my neighbor knocked on my door to give me my package and said this was delivered to her house by mistake.
