Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 11" Widescreen Tablet, 128GB, Android 13, Silver

Great tablet for little children. It’s also good for traveling they can watch movies and play games. It’s a win. Normally I do not give reviews but this was a great purchase and my son loves it.

This is my third Samsung Galaxy 11" android tablet. It is all I need in my life . I do my online shopping,. emailing , messaging and whatever . My roommate has an Apple tablet. I don't like it at all. She has ask me to help her at times when she can't figure out how to do something on her Apple. Sometimes I can sometimes I can't. I rely on my trusted Samsung. Android is much much easier to use. I am a Happy Samsung android user.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 11” tablet is a perfect fit for an individual looking for a good quality tablet. The metal and material : The matte finish comes with the cost of fingerprints being left behind quite easy. However, the base silver finish seems to not have the issue of that. As for the rest of the tablet, the smooth finish on the metal allows for a comfortable feel in the hands as well as it being not quite as heavy as some tablets on the market. The Screen: The 11” display is a standard 1080p screen which looks great along with the colors. (saturation and contrast) if you’re used to lightly tapping on screens then you’ll need to be prepared to adjust your tapping because it seems it’s a bit less sensitive than most devices. There is a setting under display that allows you to increase the sensitivity for when you put something over the screen such as a screen protector but if you don’t have one on it’s extremely sensitive. The audio: The device has quad-speakers, two on either side of the device. It also has a good max volume output without distortion. Even if you’re holding the tablet sideways and icing two speakers it still sounds clear and just a bit more quiet. The camera and ports: The device features a USB-C type charging port as well as the still included 3.5mm headphone jack for all you wired headphone users or auxiliary users. The cameras front and rear facing cameras are about the same as your day to day laptop and doesn’t touch the quality of the galaxy s5 or even the iphone 5 series. However, assuming you’re going to be using the device for most other day to day task, if the camera is a dealbreaker then I’d say to find another tablet cause this camera won’t cut it. The device use and enjoyment: After roughly 24 hours of use, I’ve noticed a slight stutter in between switching apps as well as loading into/out of apps. There is some hesitation when pressing the home or back button sometimes but overall it’s something that’s like gum on the shoe. The screen is bright and is fluid with swipes and once you get past the stutters and hesitation the apps usually run extremely well. I have had Spotify running at the same time as playing an FPS-game and it ran pretty well so long as the internet connection is stable. Overall, the device is a good quality tablet, it just lacks in some places that I can’t give it a five star rating for. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Have a great day.

Well, had it less than 90 Days, Samsung put out an update, and apparently the device overheated during, or right after the update, and in the early morning hours, it actually caught on fire, and left the power port in cinders - This was really terrifying to see the aftermath later that morning, could have been MUCH worse, but still, um, yeah, I kind of have a problem with that!

ordered item, took my payment, i called twice the day it was supposed to be delivered. customer service confirm delivery today was told yes today. the tracking went in reverse so i called again to be told its out of stock. have to wait 10 days to recieve my payment back. horrible i will never order online from walmart ever again.

This is such a terrible tablet. I immediately noticed how slow it was, straight out of the box. It can’t even load Roblox properly. I’m confused why it has so many good reviews.

Cons: 4gbs of ram is near unusable these days for the amount apps like to use up. They put a cheaper TFT type screen on this tablet so the viewing angles are atrocious. You must be directly in front of the tablet to see it properly. The colors are abysmal, especially reds which make watching any media distracting because you're wondering why fire or the Sun looks washed out and pale yellow. The brightness slider on the tablet goes from 0-100% but the actual screen brightness jumps erratically going from dark at 40% to max brightness at 60% with very little difference in-between. The screen is advertised at 90hz however the ui at this speed is very jittery and does not have smooth animations or transitions. I ended up going into the settings and making it 60hz with cut down animations which should not be required to have a smooth experience. The Multi-Active Windows feature is extremely clunky and does not work half the time. It comes with a large amount of Samsung bloat that you can't uninstall without using third party tools. Does not come with a charging brick and the 3 foot cable was too short for my use case. Pros: Audio is great and can reach quite loud volumes if you want it to. It has 4 good speakers and the sound envelopes you. Camera is average but does it's job well, a quick and easy way to use face time or do conference calls. Feels premium in your hands, although you're gonna put a case on it anyway. This tablet is frankly, a waste of materials and would not be popular if it didn't have the sway from the Samsung name. In fact I bought it for that reason, thinking surely a tablet made by Samsung would be fine and high quality. There are plenty of other tablets available at this exact price which outperform the A9 in every single way. I returned it and instead got the Onn 12.1 tablet, used, for the same price and the difference was unbelievable. Save yourself the time and money and find other alternatives to this device. There are plenty new and used.

you are forced to use an email to login. i don't like using logins for my personal things, it's too complicated to keep track of. it detected another samsung tablet via the router and sent a code to that device in order to continue with set up. what if i could not access that device? you cannot play music or video, as the screen shuts off. this is a feature samsung sets at the manufacturer, to not allow the screen to stay on. overall. buy some other brand.

Walmart's website for this specific product was far from making it clear that the tablet's charger was not included. Nowhere on the page displaying the item was there any clear warning that the battery charger was a separate purchase. If we had been made aware of that we would have attempted to include that battery charger along with the purchase of the tablet and avoided additional shipping charges. As it turned out, we decided to drive to a local Walmart store to purchase the charger, because the tablet had arrived and was useless without the battery charger. To make matters worse, when we complained about the lack of warning regarding the unmentioned charger on the sales web page the clerk argued that chargers are no longer included with tablets, as if everyone should know that. As a result I feel deceived by the omission of the needed battery charger on the web page and further insulted and abused by the clerk at the local store where we went to purchase the battery charger.

Samsung is TOO cheap to provide the charger that is needed to charge the tablet. I contacted Samsung and was told my warranty would be voided if I used the wrong charger. Geez...I wouldn't use the wrong charger if it was sent with the tablet!!! I tried charging the tablet with the power cord for my Samsung phone and the tablet will not charge. What a waste of $200!!! Walmart should refuse to sell products without chargers!
