I love my new tablet! So much more convenient than firing up my laptop. It has plenty of room for my downloaded books too. I recommend this for anyone who wants their books, Internet & email in one place . The larger screen is also great for aging eyes.
It is simply a darn good tablet for the money. It is responsive and more than adequate in size. i use it as a secondary computer, while in travel... and it fits the bill for that purpose, perfectly! I do not use it as a phone; so, I cannot comment on that potential. It is strictly used for the Internet and, for the aforementioned purpose, it does that just fine.
Bought this for my husband and he has really loved it. He was working from his phone before and now his work is much easier. Perfect size for holding in his large hands without requiring a surface to place it on. Also bought a case that allows it to be set at an angle on a hard surface, so that works great when he needs to be hands free. He has had a Samsung phone for years and this tablet has lived up to his high expectations formed from a great Samsung experience. Works similar to a phone, but easier to navigate. It is a cross between a phone and a PC. Love it!
Excellent product with versatile uses. I am proud to be the user of this tablet. Compared to other tablets that I have owned because I wanted to save money it has stood out as a superior product. It is outstanding not only in great performance but it has more durable workmanship and parts that exceed manufacturer specifications making it a real competitor with comparable Apple products. Samsung designed this tablet to serve as business or home based tablet since it has enhanced security features, operational utilities, and capability to store large quantities of data future retrieval and enjoymental. Truly a product that stands above the rest of android-based tablets with comparable screen size and resolution, processing speed and security enhancements pushing it to the head of the pack. It is above and beyond other tablets that boast similar performance features yet do not deliver the promised results.
The graphics and photos are amazing on this tablet. It is well worth the price. After losing the first one I bought the exact same one, because I was so happy with the product. I highly recommend it.
Great Samsung product. Why spend upwards of $500 or more to buy an iPad when you can buy this tablet from under $200.
Bought this for my wife because we cancelled our newspaper subscription. She love it and uses it every day.
Love this tablet it has a lot of features I didn't even realize when I purchased it. The only thing I have a little dislike for is when you turn it on you have to press the button and hold it down for a few seconds, and most of the time you have to do this several times before you can get it to come on
This review is about the Tablet only. It works well considering how out of date the Android operating system is. It is extremely fast, which I really appreciate. It does have a strange construction quirk, and I'm basing this on my previous Samsung tablet, the icons for closing and reversing a page or whatever your doing is on the bottom of the tablet as it is held portrait style. It's longer and narrower than my previous tablet, so as with the previous tablet I usually use it in landscape mode. On the previous tablet those icons were on the side, which made it easy. On this tablet, once you turn it landscape, those buttons are on the side which makes it difficult closing or reversing pages.
I needed something larger and easier to read at my age. This fits my hands but the print in some instances is too small when using some Apps, but that could be due to specific Apps and how they work. It's fast enough, light enough and I'm liking Android OS better with each product (i.e. phones) that I use. It came with Lollipop OS however in doing updates it did update to the latest Android OS, Marshmallow. This tablet does many things, so go through the interactives and learn it.
