Samsung Galaxy Watch FE Smart Watch, Bluetooth, Silver

I've wanted to try a smartwatch, but wasn't wanting to spend a lot for something I might not want really like. since these were over half off, I decided to jump in. It turns out that I like having more capabilities on a watch than the Timex and Casios I've always warn. Also, the 40mm size is great because it doesn't look like a phone strapped on my arm. Imight consider a 42/43 next time for easier viewing, but a wall clock sized one is no-go.

Setup was very easy (have a Samsung phone). Watch works great. The battery life is fine as I charge it once a day while showering. Gets it up to 100% and drains to around 45-50% by the next time. Using it to track a lot of activities during the day. Easy to get to messages, timers, alerts and other stuff too. Got a second one for my son as well and he loves it too.

Bought it for my Dad as a Christmas gift as he had recently been diagnosed with Afib. I feel better knowing he can keep track of his heart rate and O2. Setting it up for him wasn't bad, but I fear the app for it might be a little too much for him to handle. Time will tell.

I just love this watch. I was so impressed with it, that I decided to purchase one for my son as well. The battery life is phenomenal on this watch. I get up everyday at 5: 00AM and set it back up on my charger normally around 10:00PM every night.

I bought this watch to track my daily steps since I don't carry my phone on me all day. Seeing my daily step total is encouraging to stay active. Although the watch has additional features such as reading texts and phone calls, I do not utilize them. I do like the fact that if I choose to wear the watch while I sleep, I receive a report the next morning on my Samsung Android phone about my sleep patterns. I'm very pleased with my watch!

I took it off my Galaxy FE watch last week for an MRI but swear I put it back on. I even remember changing it. But, it was nowhere to be found. Yesterday I was finishing the laundry. I opened the dryer and my watch was laying there on top of the laundry as pretty as can be. I immediately panicked because it has been washed and dried. I just bought this watch before Christmas. It's brand new. To my SURPRISE, I put it on the charger, fully expecting it to not work anymore. But the it comes on and is charging. My watch is still perfect. Now mind you, it went through a “super” wash cycle with double rinse and then two drying cycles. 🤣 If that's not a testament to toughness and durability, I don't know what is. It's already more durable than my Apple Watch ever was.

I love the fact that I can respond to txts and answer my phone through this watch. The sleep tracker is awesome. It even knows ifn you're snoring. Also love the fact that I can use my gallery photos as watch faces. The only down side is the battery life really sucks!!! Full charge lasts less than 24 hrs and that's with the battery saver mode on. However, it only takes 2 hrs to completely charge when it's down to 5%.

I like the watch. Way more personalization than my Apple Watch. Battery life could be better. Only other things is Google messages is pre-installed so if you use any other messaging app on your Samsung phone you may not be able to read your messages on your watch.

The watch would be fine, except I can't use it for the reason I purchased it, that is, for EKG. It pairs with my phone but I would have to purchase a new more expensive phone to get that function. That was murky. So I may have to sell it at a loss, since what it can do is not what I need.

I wish there was a maybe, or it depends instead of just a yes or no, if would I recommend. it depends on what you are looking for. the watch itself and the functions are great. love the size, the feel and the look. you can change the screen with several different options. the step tracker is accurate and on point with my Fitbit (which I loved but it did not last well either. I went through 2 replacements before I decided to switch to the Galaxy) I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ability to track your sleeping and health and body composition features as well as tracking stress and what not but the battery life sucks. it's really bad. in order to take advantage of the sleep/stress/health functions you need to wear it to bed but the battery won't last a full day and night. it BARELY lasts a full day. there are several options to make the battery last longer but I didn't feel like it made much of a difference and you lose many of the great functions trying to save the battery. I have to remember to take it off and put it on the charger while I go shower at night and in the morning and then remember to put it back on, but I will say it does charge fast. not fast enough to make me purchase it again, bit for the price and of you are just want to tell time, since to your phone for messages and to access the app for data, it's great, especially if you don't care about wearing it at night. dissappontrd in Galaxy as I am normally a huge fan
