Very high quality device

Jon F October 23, 2023

I have been using Fitbit devices for the last dozen years and always found them to be marginally useful and with a life span of less than a couple of years. I have had my Galaxy watch 5Pro for a few weeks now and and am extremely impressed with all of the features and how well they work. Also, these devices look like high end watches and the build quality seems to be top notch. The only negative I have is that I wish the battery life could be 5 or 6 days instead of 2 or 3. But that is a minor issue compared to the the high quality and number of great features of the this unit.

Surprisingly glad to have upgraded.

Davina March 19, 2024

I was nervous to buy a new watch. I have had the galaxy sport 2 for so long. However i had to get a new phone and the watch no longer worked with it so a new watch was bought. The price couldnt be beat and I do love having a newer watch. My watch face changes every couple days so it always looks different. The only downside is i cannot see my current activity and steps on the watch face like I used to. That makes me sad as I am no longer motivated to check my activity. I dont like that you have to open the app on the phone or watch to check. I liked it so much better when I could just glance at the watch and see right away where I was in my goals.

Love my new watch

Mike December 4, 2023

I've had the old Galaxy watch for almost 6 years before I got this. My big thing was I needed a battery that would last more than one day because of the long battery life of the old galaxy. This watch gives me roughly 50 hours before the battery gets to 20% and is much faster and has much more capabilities than my old Galaxy obviously. I'm truly enjoying it's comfort and all of its smart features that help me with my sleeping habits to tracking so many of my health statistics.

iPhone to Android? A Must Purchase

pgboone3 October 14, 2023

The smartwatch that actually looks like a watch....love it! Bought it primarily because I left iPhone for Android. I have had all kinds of watches including the Apple Watch Ultra and even the Watch6. Love this most of all and I absolutely love the magnetic band! Happy with my purchase!

Nice upgrade from Gear S3 Frontier to 5 Pro

Scott S October 24, 2023

This is my third Samsung watch, I also owned the Gear S2 and the S3 Frontier. I decided to purchase the 5 Pro because of the longer battery life, the titanium construction, and some other updated features. Also my Frontier was showing signs of screen burn in and it was getting annoying. I have been using the 5 Pro for a couple of weeks and really like it. The WearOS operating system is a nice upgrade to the Tizen system that the Frontier and S2 had. The watch is more responsive, smoother, has a hardened glass face and seems to be pretty rugged. I do miss the rotating bezel somewhat but the digital bezel will be a good substitute for it.

Batteries can do more

Sharma June 20, 2024

I'm really impressed with this watch! The health features, including activity tracking, sleep monitoring, and heart rate measurement, are fantastic. They're the main reason I jumped on the smartwatch bandwagon. However, I did give it four stars because of the battery life. It lasts approximately a day and a half with moderate use or just a day with regular use. Considering its compact design, fitting all these features into such a small device is impressive, but overall, smartwatches could definitely improve battery performance.

Nice watch, horrible band

Jim Lahey March 28, 2024

Watch itself is very nice, the band however is horrible. The fact you're stuck with medium large by default and that's your only choice almost had me returning the watch, ended up buying the spigen watch case and band otherwise this was getting returned

PRO not needed unless you want to use the maps.

Anonymous November 5, 2023

Nice watch. Thought the Pro had a gps for tracing routes but it's proprietary file system. That's the only difference in the galaxy 5 and galaxy 5 pro. If all the features are enabled (gps, heart monitor, etc.) battery hours take a big hit. You get maybe a day out of it. The magnetic band got replaced immediately. Nice office feature but not meant for outdoors.

Frustrating Experience with Samsung Watch

Shade November 11, 2023

Title: Frustrating Experience with Samsung Watch Mile Tracking I've had a rather frustrating experience with my Samsung watch, particularly in the area of distance tracking. Despite my attempts to utilize it for accurate mileage during my runs, it consistently fails to provide reliable results. Strangely, it seems more focused on automatically counting laps than accurately measuring distance. What's even more perplexing is the absence of a setting to address this issue. I've scoured the settings, hoping to find a solution, but to no avail. It's disheartening when a feature as fundamental as distance tracking falls short, especially for those who rely on it for their fitness routines. I hope future updates address these issues because, as it stands, my Samsung watch's performance in this crucial aspect leaves much to be desired. If you're looking for a reliable device for accurate distance tracking, this might not be the ideal choice
