bought as a gift for my mom to replace her old one. she loves it

We gifted this to our mom for Christmas because she will go hours without calling us back because her "phone wasn't close by or I didn't know ya'll called / texted me" now hopefully she will see her messages and calls in "real" or reasonable time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The samsung galaxy watch 6 44mm LTE is the best watch I've had yet. It already came in handy when I fell and couldn't get up, I was able to call my husband for help. I feel so much safer having this watch on my wrist! A real winner!

I love this thing. I came from FitBit (charge 3 & 5), but this offers so much more. I went with the standard Watch 6 - 44mm with the extreme sport band. The solid bands of the FitBits usually left a rash underneath, but the sport band allows air underneath. I went all out Samsung this year with the S23+ in March and the Buds Pro 2 in July. The watch plays nicely with both. There are a few apps on Google Play that I would like to have on the watch, but the designers haven't made them WearOS compatible yet :( No fault of Samsung or their awesome products. All in all, the watch offers many important notifications from the phone and I'm hoping will help me lose weight.

Ivebeen using this watch for couple months. I actually miss it when I don't get my bedtime numbers. It calculates so much of my health. When I start walking %26 forget to hit the exercise button it automatically tracks after 10 minutes. Tells me how much time I actually slept, which is important to me. I can reply to texts, get notifications for apps I marked, accept %26 make phone calls. All without touching my phone. Works without phone nearby if you activate service through your phone's provider. I have not. Settings are easy to work. It does take a while to get updates uploaded after purchase. Be patient. The cover %26 band I bought from Amazon per the specs needed. I recommend.

Watch features are great. The ability to use a walkie talkie like iwatch would be amazing. But ! The gold is definitely not gold! It looks like a faded silver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a nice looking watch that looks and feels premium However, I was disappointed with the lack of apps available, especially Google apps. I was also sad to find out that the ECG support doesn't work without a Samsung phone paired to the Galaxy Watch. Even worse, my cell carrier Metro by T-Mobile is unable to activate the cellular data plan on the watch because I'm using a Pixel 7 Pro instead of a Galaxy phone and there's a software issue that prevents the watch from activating. The battery life is also surprisingly poor since I'm not using the cellular data; this surprised me. Overall, the watch is less useful than I expected and the experience isn't worth it unless you have a Galaxy phone to pair with the watch."

Let start with good part: nice looking, a lot of functions. The bezel is a very good addition to have, not just look! For me it was borderline to keep or return. I bought it to do a few things, besides showing the time: 1. Counting laps in the swimming pool. 2. Registering walking/hiking activities. 3. Keep track about heart rate. 4. Everything else was fine but not really important for me. Now, what it does. 1. The lap counter is not accurate. I would say in range of 10-20% in total counts. The time on some laps was ~10 seconds for 25 yards pool on the others over 3 minutes. Neither is even close to what it should be. 2. It seems like walking/hiking is accurate, but I need more time to test. 3. Heart Rate fine as long as bracelet is tight. 4. Tried to check sleeping. Decided to stop. One example: I had to wake up ~4 am. Well, sleep recording stopped at that moment, and it was saying that I was active since then. The battery life is miserable. If I do swimming (45 minutes) and a few hours of walking, watch doesn't last for a day (~16 hours). I decided to keep them, but it was borderline whether to return them. I wouldn't buy again and would have very hard time recommend.

I've had this watch for close to a month. It has the worst battery life. So bad I can't get use out of the fitness tracker. Specifically for biking, snowboarding 🏂… battery dies. It will make it through the day as long as I don't use it for much. Very disappointed. Love the watch but without battery holding up for what it's intended for is a bummer.

Don't let appearances fool you. The battery life on the watch is pathetic and will be lucky to last you 18 hours. My old Gear 3 could last almost 3 days. Do better Samsung! You should replace these watches with one that has the same features but a better battery.
