[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very happy with this induction range and oven. My favorite part is that I can boil water in less than a minute! The unit is very efficient, esthetically pleasing, and the black stainless matches my other black stainless appliances well.
This sleek and safety featured range was outside of the price point of where I targeted. However, due to the great marketing of the wonderful features this range offered, I had to increase the budget. I am still learning the range and have not used all of the features but from what I have used-so far, so great! ~I received compensation for this review but the review is my own~
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the first morning after our range arrived, my 90 y/o mother woke up early and went to the kitchen to make coffee. she turned on the burner and put the kettle on the wrong burner. i love the fact that the element doesn't get hot unless there is a pot on the element! another bonus feature, water boils in 3 minutes flat!! “i received compensation for this review but the review is my own”.
I just purchased this stove. After doing a lot of research, this one seemed like the one that would fit our household the best. The whole process was seamless, and I am looking forward to using the stove! I received compensation for this review but the review is my own.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i just purchased this after using a version of it at my friend's house. anyone limited to electric knows how long it takes water to boil and anyone who's used an air fryer knows that the technology is a game-changer. my friend's range was a higher end model and a bit more expensive but the same features, so when this one came out, i jumped. also, they're giving away the circulon cook set, so definitely an enticement.. to buy it and to write the review (i received compensation for this review but the review is my own). i know this is a bit more expensive than a standard range, but this makes the cooking experience that much greater.
I had never cooked on an induction oven before, but this range made it easy to make the switch! The induction cooktop is fantastic, and I love how quickly it responds to temperature changes. The convection oven is a must have as well. Overall, it's a great range! **I received compensation for this review but the review is my own.
Just got it installed last night. This is my first induction stove and I'm blown away. The large burner boils 4 quarts of water in less than 6 minutes. My old gas stove took over 18 minutes to do the same thing! Even the tiniest burner on this heats up that pot of water quicker than the gas stove (around 17 minutes). I was a little worried about the burner layout, the 4th element is very small and I'm not sure I'd ever be able to use all 4 burners at the same time. However now that I've used the stove it seems like the layout is ok. I doubt I'll ever need to use all 4 at the same time, and even a medium size pot will heatup nicely on the tiny burner if I ever need it. Minor complaints so far: My microwave range hood fan won't pair to this stove. I was under the impression this range was capable of it, but I can't find it explicitly stated anywhere in the documentation that this model number will. I guess only the more expensive models have the Bluetooth capability required. The oven display has blue digits, my microwave has white ones. It's a shame samsung didn't match them... I believe the main heating element in this oven is in the back behind the convection fan. This means that even in normal bake mode the fan cycles on anytime the element needs to warm the oven back up to maintain temperature. It doesn't have to do this very often after the oven has reached it's set temperature but it's something to keep in mind I guess. Although it is really nice the heating element does deliver true convection when you do want convection mode! I suppose I'd take that trade. I'm giving it 4 stars because it doesn't pair with my range hood, and I feel like samsung could've done a better job making the display match their other products. Overall I'm satisifed with my purchase though. I received compensation for this review but the review is my own.
I regret swapping my Samsung gas range for this induction stove. It's great for soups, stews, and other liquid-boiling, and the oven is nearly perfect. It is also pretty good for stir-fry, with my flat-bottom wok. However, if you like frying eggs, hashbrowns, or pancakes, then stay away from induction. The heat is just too focused in a small area, and won't spread throughout your pan - even with 3 or 5 ply stainless.
I just bought this stove recently and so far I love it. The convection oven works great. The self clean function is amazing. The first time I cooked in the oven the food spilled onto the bottom and I used the self clean function afterward and it cleaned everything off. I didn't have to do any scrubbing.
Oh man, did things change. Last week this model stopped working. It actually tripped the range's circuit breaker (luckily, otherwise uncontrolled 50+ amps @240V would might mean a fire or worse). When I reset it, there was an error - turned out it stopped working. 1 week to get someone to take a look, and then determine there are no parts, and another 15-20 business days (pending) to get a replacement. If you buy a range, it's because you cook. So 4-5 weeks of no cooking is a problem. The annoying thing is on the website I could buy a new one and have it delivered in 3 days, but if I want to avoid paying extra I have to wait 15-20 business days. The unit is only a few months old so it is covered by warranty. As a note, I got the impression it is a common problem with the Samsung induction ranges. Not sure about the other brands. Prior to it breaking: 4.5 stars. Induction ranges are excellent! Not 5 stars because the burner controls seems are not intuitive (a design mistake), and the oven fan blows air over the range which makes it a little weird cooking at the same time, I think because of the low profile design. Things on the stove heat up quickly as does the oven.
