I don't really see much difference between the Samsung television sound and using the sound bar. The Samsung television has great quality sound already and the sound bar muted. Some of the sounds. I heard when it was turned off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best soundbar/sub combo I've ever had. For watching TV shows and movies on streaming services, or through the cable provider, the sound is consistently good. Music videos sound great. For Dolby Atmos experience, the product is not what I'd hoped. It sounds good and starts to approach immersive sound with a proper mix from a 4K Blu-ray disc, connected to my Samsung Q80R e-arc hdmi port, played through a 4K Blu-ray player. It doesn't get very immersive or Atmos-y when playing 4K, Dolby Atmos movies from streaming services. For a general-purposes unit, this sound bar is serviceable and sometimes great. From my experience, I think that one needs the best source material/media/playback devices to achieve what the sound bar is really capable of. Perhaps this is true of all 3.1.2 systems. I keep thinking I should buy the wireless rear speaker kit to see if the immersive-ness becomes what I'd hoped. The upfiring speakers don't dazzle me. Maybe true of all upfiring Atmos solutions?

I never received item, instead I received a beat up box containing a mattress… now I'm fighting with Walmart to figure out how to return it and get the item I ordered!

The soundbar worked great until the latest update, which bricked my soundbar. Now, it is totally unable to work, and I have to send it in to get it fixed. Samsung requires you to pay for a box to ship the soundbar, so you might want to keep your box so you can send it back to Samsung when it's broken.
