[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually better than expected. Didn't think this system would sound as good as it does. With bass and 3d sound its amazing. Has absolutely exceeded my expectations and is definitely better than the Bose system I thought about buying glad I didn't. Absolutely excellent for gaming.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar works beautifully with my Samsung Neo Qled 90F TV. The Q-Symphony feature is a game changer when using this surround sound system. For the ultimate sound experience pair your TV with the Q990F. The sound quality is unparalleled! You won't go wrong with this sound bar system! You will be impressed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung Q990F soundbar is a fantastic soundbar. The system comes with soundbar, upgraded subwoofer and 2 rear speakers. The soundbar and rears have side and up firing speakers that work great. The sound quality is excellent. So much so you can hear footsteps walking down the hall through the movies sound and dialogue. The Q990F takes sports to a whole new level. And with the enhanced dialogue you get the action in your living room and still able to hear the play by play. I would recommend the Q990F soundbar over the other top tier units out there. And you can't beat the price compared to the others that do not offer extra HDMI connections, or multiple Dolby connectivity like the Samsung. Love this unit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system has amazing sound, great bass, and could not have connected any easier. I upgraded from a Sonos system that was a pain to connect, so I was pleasantly surprised when SmartThings found it within seconds. Could not be happier with the look and sound of this system.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went with the LG G7 tv but the LG sound bar was lackluster. I bought the Samsung q series and it absolutely kicks butt! I'll upload a picture. It's not with the G7 because I wanted to test it out in my basement since there was already a soundbar mount down there before drilling a new one in upstairs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was blown away when I heard the power and clarity that came out of this small pkg. absolutely amazing. In the photo below I could not include the rear speakers because they were mounted on the wall behind me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love watching movies and this sound bar system elevates the experience 10 fold. I didn't realize how great of a difference the upward and side speakers can make. The Space Fit feature is a game changer. The quality of the speakers and rumble of the woofer make this sound bar system sound better than a movie theater. 10/10 would recommend.
Our Harmon Kardon finally bit the dust so we were in the market for a new soundbar. Surround really hadn't cross my mind, all I knew is I did not like the Bose soundbar. We went to a local big box retailer to listen to the ones on my list Samsung, JBL, Klipsch, and Onkyo. Sono's was on the list but was a bit more than I wanted to spend so we didn't bother with it. It's kind of hard to get the real experience in such an open space. But I was looking for one particular thing when shopping, richness. A lot of these soundbars are just dry. We decided on the Q990F. There is not one ounce of disappointment, I read a few reviews saying the bass was lacking. It's obvious you haven't played around with the settings. I had that thing sounding like I was at a rap concert in the first 5 minutes it was hooked up. My hubby was outside and came in to tell me to turn the bass down and it wasn't even cranked. My suggestion is open it up on Smart Things and play around with the settings. Next is your placement. That can have a huge part in it as well. Ours is basically in a cubbyhole. It acts like a box which amplifies the bass. So yes, this thing thumps if you know what you're doing. The speakers and sub are more than sufficient. The configuration was easy to go through.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best set of speakers I have ever owned. I did by stands for the rear speakers. But the surround sound is fantastic and the system was easy to set up. My only wish is that here was a better remote system. I use the app but wish there was a more comprehensive remote. Other than that, the system is wonderful and have nothing to but good things to say.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the HW-Q990B and the difference is immediately noticeable. The soundstage is wider, dialogue is clearer, and the surround effects feel more precise. The bass from the subwoofer is deep without overwhelming the room, and the rear speakers add a real cinematic feel. Setup was simple, and the system integrates smoothly with my TV. What I appreciate most is how balanced everything sounds, whether I'm watching movies or listening to music. It delivers a true home-theater experience and feels like a meaningful step up from my previous model. Overall, I'm very satisfied and impressed with the performance. If you want, I can make it even shorter, more detailed, or more emotional — just tell me your style.
