look this tv is by far the best outdoor tv i have had in many years. the nit brightness is off the chain. the clarity and contrast is great. i have this next to our pool running misters everywhere and it just performs. running sonos speaker set-up and hdmi from inside receiver. flawless connections. i'm a huge sony tv guy, but this is samsung's first intro to outdoor, and they did not skimp on anything!! pull the trigger, you will really surprised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After attempting to use a normal TV outdoors and that TV quickly Failing, I found that Samsung had entered the outdoor TV market. This is hands down the best outdoor TV option available at the moment. It's fully encapsulated so no need to worry about the elements. After a year and a half on my uncovered patio it has held up perfectly. I get comments on how clear the picture is. No glare even when the sun is fully out. I highly recommend the Terrence sound bar. Excellent sound quality, combined with the TV you will have an amazing entertainment zone outside. Only complaint is the remotes. For an outdoor TV the remote does not Have any type of outdoor rating. I've been through 2 already and they were never left out in the rain. Even just dew or moisture that accumulates from sitting outside for the day has ruined them. Nothing is perfect and aside from the remote this TV is close.

i have to say... i love it! this has to be the brightest tv i have ever seen! at night i reduce the brightness. i like if florida and the spot i have it in gets a lot of direct sun! and i have no problem seeing the picture! i got the 55” which didnt come out at launch. it'great. i have four qled indoor tvs. 2019 82”, 2020 65” and a 2018 55” and 2017 55”. the terrace is a true qled tv. the picture is amazing. the design is casing are cool. its heavier because of the water proof case. but not by a lot. having it be a smart tv is great also. my only complaint would be the speaker volume. you really do need to add some kind of speaker to the system. i have thia tv installed on my balcony in a condo building. but i love this tv!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful television to add to your backyard. Day or night. Perfect for watching a baseball game from pool or hot tub. Everyone who sees our TV now asks where they can get one. The audio is sent to our landscape speakers with no delay and the audio can played on all speakers in our house. I would also recommend a sound bar when you do not want to use the landscape speakers. Great product to finish off a pool area. Another reason you won't want to leave your house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the TV for about a year now and it has weathered Chicago winters and summers without issue. Great, bright picture that has no issues in any conditions. Smart HUB gives me access to nearly all of the shows and streaming services that I could want. I only have two minor complaints about the TV: 1. Access to the inputs requires removal of about 12 screws. There is no way to quickly add a new source such as a streaming stick or HDMI cable without removing all the screws. 2. Adaptive picture and sound are hit or miss. Sometimes they make a huge improvement, other times I need to turn them off to make the unit watchable.

TV was really great for the first few years. Very bright and easy to view outside in direct sunlight. On year 5 the TV screen started to bubble and peel. The frustrating part is there's no way to get anyone to repair it. I understand it's out of warranty but it was a very expensive TV and they don't have a way to fix the screen when it was designed to be an outside TV is frustrating.

The Terrace has a great picture for outdoors in partial sun and full sun whether watching sports or a movie. Unfortunately, while built solid and is quite heavy, it does not stand up to being outdoors as advertised even when using the Terrace cover while not in use and under shelter (never exposed to elements). Worked for two years and now we have thick horizontal black lines obstructing the view.

I've owned a Custom AV business for 15 years. We've installed around a dozen of these, and all have had screen failures within 2 years. The anti-reflective screens begin peeling or streaking. Doesn't matter if they are Full Sun, Partial Sun models, under cover, with a dust cover. They all turn to crap. BEWARE!!!!!

While the TV initially worked great and I enjoyed it outside, over time the screen started to accumulate water spots that works not go away despite covering the TV frequently and using many different screen cleaners. Then recently the TV would power on and off just for a 1/2 second but with no picture. A repair tech indicated it needs a "new panel" which costs more than I originally paid for the TV. So in short it was a very expensive 4 year TV. May as well buy a cheap one to move in and outside if they only last that long. So I am.
