[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i loved the sleek style of this refrigerator and the drawer versatility. my biggest problem with the unit is the icemaker keeps getting frost buildup and it jams.

I bought this refrigerator in 2019 and the ice maker is a nightmare. In addition, the cost to replace the water pitcher is INSANE for a piece of plastic! My husband has de-iced the ice maker a number of times and sometimes he can get it to work again and sometimes we just wait and keep trying until it makes ice again. For months we had to buy bags of ice (our choice to buy ice instead of buying trays and freezing our own because of the space it takes up and time it takes to freeze). I'm sick to my stomach that I spent so much on this thinking I was buying something of great quality. I will avoid Samsung in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the refrigerator in April 2017. The ice maker has broken down 3 times. In 10 months. They have replaced it and it still breaks down. Very disappointed. We have several other Samsung products such as dishwasher, microwave, stove and curved TV, which have held up well. Wish I could say the same for the refrigerator. No product should break down 3 times in 10 months.

We bought this refrigerator because we needed a new ice maker - after we used it for a month or two, the device stopped working! We often buy store bought ice because the ice maker is ridiculously slow. I didn't notice how small the compartment was until we started using it. We have a family of four (not big) and run out of ice after breakfast and the new batch isn't ready until bedtime. I do love the sleek design, but our fridge is not fingerprint resistant!!! The fridge doesn't have handles - it looks like our kids attack the front of the fridge trying to get it open - the fingerprints drive me crazy!!!

in the beginning it would work fine but as time goes on, some time it will not fill. and now it completely stopped and just over a year and the warranty doesn't cover

This was beautiful on the showroom. How they kept it from scratching, I have no idea. We put the same magnets we had on our old fridge for years and it instantly scratched. I don't think the delivery service could have left the zip code before we had a nice size scratch on it. The icemaker is an unadulterated nightmare. We are shutting cooling down to the fridge at least once a month to deal with the whole ice machine freezing up. There isn't a way to just warm up that compartment in the fridge or even just bring the freezer up to above freezing to let it thaw, you have to shut the whole unit down. It freezes up so badly you actually can't even open the (pitifully small) ice storage. I love the autofill pitcher. The shelves need to be more flexible in their configuration (it is a very roomy fridge, but forget putting huge items in or configuring it to your lifestyle, especially around the holidays). And the top drawer in the freezer...did a preschooler design it? I've been terrified of breaking it a number of times because the word "glide" apparently isn't in their vocabulary. We are so disappointed in this machine. We have been a Samsung loving family, but between this and a not so smart Smart TV, I think we'll be brand hopping next time.

I am writing this review again. This is another day without ice!!! The ice maker in this refrigerator constantly freezes up. It seems like every time we get ready to sit down to dinner there is no ice because the ice maker has frozen up. This so annoying. I thought I was buying a quality appliance. I love my Samsung phone, but these appliances are not the quality that you pay for.

Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can away from this garbage refrigerator. Our first one lasted all of 48 hours. The 2nd one needed to be completely rebuilt after 8months and now another 6 months down the road it's having the same issues (frozen up ice maker, no longer cooling fridge and freezer) Worst purchase ever!

this refrigerator is a major disappointment. i like the inside features but the outside is a disaster. it scratches and dents extremely easy. it is an eyesore in my remodeled kitchen.

purchased on 6/24/17 and the ice maker is frozen over daily and doesn't work. obviously a consistent problem with the ice maker design, which justifies a recall. i do not recommend this fridge.
