Samsung RF27T5201SR 27 Cu. Ft. Stainless French Door Refrigerator

So far I am enjoying the refrigerator. No issues the delivery guys are so efficient I give them 10. Good hard working young men. I love it and the features are great.

Awesome fridge, lot of space in both fridge and freezer. A great upgrade from our previous side by side. Sam's makes it really easy, including delivery and install.

This is a nice Refridgerator for the price. A cheaper version than our RF28HDEDTSR which was the exact same style just had a third door. These doors are a lot lighter and not cased in additional plastic. Doors are lighter, and does not have the second ice maker in bottom.

I was not finding a white refrigerator like I wanted anywhere. So I went online at Sam's to see if they would be one there. Lucky me, I found one. I ordered it and had it delivered to my house. The delivery went great but the delivery men did not hook up the water line. Now I will have to hire a plumber to do that. I love the refrigerator and am so glad that I got it. I would have given 5 stars but could not because of the water line not being connected.

Ice Maker keeps stopping making ice. I then have to take the ice tray out and chip away the ice that forms in the back and then stops the ice from being created. Then it will work for a little while. Very frustrating!

The fridge and the freezer are marvelous. But the icemaker will break your heart before long. Ours lasted 15 months. It just stopped working and all the prescribed methods to restart it didn't work I replaced it and the second one kept icing up every 2-3 weeks. So we gave up and bought a countertop icemaker. But we are tired of that and are receiving our new fridge with the icemaker in the bottom freezer. My advice: Don't buy any fridge that has the icemaker in the fridge compartment. They will fail before they should. Make sure the ice maker is in the freezer compartment.

The unit broke at installation and was taken back by the delivery company

This one started great, and then for a year, the upper ice maker is frozen. I have tried defrosting it, chiseling out the ice bank, and searching non-stop. I am surprised the same effort was not put into the ice maker working like was put into using a "genuine" water filter which is highly overpriced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker on this model is faulty. The models prior to the one I own were part of a pay out because of the faulty ice maker issue. Samsung was said to repair the issue in models after 2019 but the issue has not been resolved. Now I have to have a repair person come out every 6-12 months to thaw out my ice maker so it will stop leaking, freezing over and jamming the ice maker. Do not but Samsung fridges with ice makers!

Obviously a flaw in the design of the ice maker for us all to have this big of a problem.
