SAMSUNG RS27T5200SR 27.4 Cu.Ft. Stainless Side-by-Side Refrigerator

Love the size, larger than expected, great space and lighting. The gallon size shelves in the door are very handy, wish the shelves were adjustable but they are spaced adequately. A third drawer in the refrigerator side would be handy. The ice bin could be a little larger. Over all I like it and would recommend to friends.

The 27 cubic foot capacity is more than enough storage for our small family, and it has a small footprint within our kitchen. The recommended temperatures of 0 degrees for the freezer and 37 degrees for the refrigerator were obtained quite quickly (about an hour) after the initial set up and power on. The location of the control buttons and temperature display being inside the refrigerator makes a quick check of the unit's status very easy. So far, we have seen NO variation in temperature, indicating to me that the engineering put into insulating and air flow within this unit will keep it very cost efficient for MANY years to come. All of this being said, we are EXTREMELY pleased with our Samsung unit!

The side-by-side design is convenient, the shelves are well laid out, and the water and ice dispenser work great. It keeps food consistently cold, runs quietly, and looks beautiful in our kitchen. We especially appreciate how spacious it is without feeling bulky. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what we needed. Perfect operation, and the reminders for the door being open are a nice touch.

It's quiet except for when making ice cubes. Cable waterline, filter, built in chimes, sabbath mode and thermometer included. No adjustable shelves or handles. A roasting pan will fit with lid. No ice maker on the shelf. Watch like a hawk for scratches on floor, dents on the fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. We like everything about it but wish it had light at the water and ice dispenser. Time will tell as far as the compressor goes as we've read that the Samsung refrigerator compressors go out in about 2-3 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice looking Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator, but some quality issues. It was larger than expected but 27.4 SQ Ft was about 3 SQ FT more than my last refrigerator. The temperature controls are easy to operate and it keeps a steady temperature as set for ergonomics ease. It does not seem as energy efficient as it could be, especially considering this is the low feature model without the touch screen and viewing windows. The refrigerator has a very beautiful finish they claim to be finger print resistant, but it is really just easier to clean but it shows every touch. For the size the inside shelves do not offer a lot of room for taller objects so the accessibility could use some improvement. The glass shelves do get some condensation build up, but the cooling operation clears the condensation up as the unit operates over time. Then the water and ice dispenser is ok, but it could really use a light in the area and the water dispenser can be messy if trying to fill a water bottle because it seems designed to feel a very large cup. The quality issues I had were a broken door seal and mission finishing part on the top when the brand new unit was unboxed. They could do better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty but issues noted on day 1. Freezer seal not installed properly rolled at bottom outside area cause efficiency cold leak and condensation . Water dispenser drips constantly maybe a few drops an hour but all day long. Finish says fingerprint resistant but not even a little. Maybe easier to clean but definitely shows every touch. Regret this purchase. Most likely return.
