[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Shield T7 4TB for DJing over the past 3-4 years. I store large music videos, mp4 format. 720p, 1080p (because bars and clubs don't have 4k and it's a waste of space at that point.) but it has been super reliable, quick read and write speeds. The durable rubber coating helps protect it while it's stored in my DJ bag and traveling from place to place and also while in the DJ booth in hot, musty, environments. The grip is a nice addition so it stays put, preventing unnecessary movement with all the bass vibrations going on during a gig. Even when I'm doing heavy downloading and a lot of writing processes with my files, or even in the middle of a gig where I'm utilizing software features like STEMS, the SSD only gets somewhat warm. I haven't noticed any throttling due to heat limitations. That grip also adds resistance to vibrations which I covered previously. I bought this when storage prices weren't where they are today, but when I need to buy another drive, it will definitely be a Samsung drive. When I'm transferring many files, the speeds are very acceptable for my use case. It may not be the fastest drive out there, but this is perfect for my needs.

It has backed up our phones and computers. It's a hard copy easy to grab and keep safe for our digital identitys and just an additional way to keep our info safe and secure. I would buy again but the largest size possible.

Plug and play, simple to use. Speed is great for what I needed. The outer cover does get dusty fast due to the rubber-like material, but overall good.

Nice cables to connect to my Samsung S25 Ultra and super fast transfer of my pictures and videos. I needed something because my Google Photo was out of storage. I feel my files are safe on here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Magician app is not compatible with my phone it seems but it's the only way to get updates and increase security. So I am very disappointed. My SSD also gets a bit hot just for having it plugged it. It is not as fast as I thought it would be using it's designated cable and all. Overall I like that is sleek, modern and compact but missing the mark on software, heat distribution and speed.

These prices are ridiculous. Originally ordered one for 130$ and was canceled by Walmart and was told on the phone to purchase one on marketplace and I will get the difference. Never did and this was a waste of time with having to print a return label to return this ridiculously overpriced product. No fault to this seller but of course I see his reviews aren't exactly good either. Neutral.
