Remote works great with my Samsung Smart TV. It comes with 2 batteries. Once I put the batteries in, it worked automatically; I didn't even have to program it to my TV, which saved me a headache lol. All the button functions work great as well. The shipping was fast. Once I ordered it, it can the next day. I definitely recommend this remote!

My mother has an older Samsung TV and it's hard to find a replacement remote. I was grateful that I didn't have to spend hours online searching. I saw that Walmart had it and I ordered it immediately. I even got same day delivery. I'm thrilled and my mom is too.

Samsung TV remote is best for a Samsung TV. I had bought a couple of cheap generic TV remotes and they were terrible and they didn't work at all. I downloaded an app to my phone but it wanted to be coordinated with the actual TV remote and I couldn't do that. When the on/off button on the TV broke I couldn't get the TV to turn on, so my son recommended that I purchase the Samsung remote that originally came with the TV. I had it delivered express and it works like a dream-very easy and uncomplicated!

So my puppy chewed up my remote. I stressed about getting a new remote and trying to sync/program it to my tv. This is exactly like the original Samsung SmartHub 5g. You just turn it on and it syncs itself. Seriously!! There's no programming to do. 100% recommend 5☆

I recently bought a 65” Samsung Smart TV and absolutely love it except for the tiny, overly simple remote it comes with. I picked up this remote, and to my surprise it worked straight out of the box with no pairing or code entering required. If you're familiar with Samsung remotes, you know how basic they are: no number pad, no guide button, and very limited controls. This remote fixes all of that. It includes numbers, a guide button, a menu button, and all the functions a proper remote should have. It's a huge improvement over the stock Samsung remote. My only complaint is the colored A, B, C, D buttons. They don't seem to serve any purpose, and unfortunately you can't program them for streaming apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, or Apple TV which is what I was hoping for. Even with that drawback, it's still a great upgrade. I give it a solid 4 stars, and it would have been an easy 5 if those buttons were programmable.

Ready too use out of the box for my 65'" and 43" new Samsung LED tvs. The supplied controls for the new tvs were quite basic and did not utilize the full smart tv features. Samsung should have included the upgraded Samsung controls acquired through Walmart.com. Walmart provided the upgraded controls for a reasonable price and had them delivered in a timely manner. Highly recommend this control over the basic economy control that Samsung is providing with the new smart LED tvs.

Our dog decided to chomp the remote, so naturally I hopped on the Walmart website to find a replacement. Walmart allowed me to have it delivered within hours from our local store. It's a solid choice for a basic remote. I ended up ordering a second one to have on hand just in case. It's kind of nice to know it's there if we need it. The price was right. I would buy this again for sure.

Context: Rental TV didn't come with a remote. Bought a "Samsung Smart TV Remote" one year ago %26 HATED it. That is behind me now. Setup: Opened box, installed included AAA batteries. Turned on the TV. Threw the "Smart" remote with the instructions into this product box to curse the next resident of this rental. Use: This remote only works with Samsung TVs. The size fits in my small hands as easily as my partners' large hands. The back has a finger rest that makes it easy to use without looking and easy to open the battery compartment. The soft, responsive buttons are comfortable and easy to differentiate between shapes, placement, and braille. Unlike THE REMOTE WHICH IS DEAD TO ME, when buttons are pressed, the television immediately obeys after a single action. The shortcuts are optimized for Samsung TV. On my TV the IR is on the right side, so with TV at 12:00, the remote works when pointed between 11:00 - 5:00. This remote has no microphone. This product cost $13 on sale. Which is $3 more than the "smart" nightmare I used before it. For this feeling of relief - for this lifting of the horrible cloud of suffering the previous remote held over me - I would have sacrificed at least one paired organ. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

When my daughter had her tv upgraded recently she said she liked the old TV remote from her previous television. This replacement I ordered arrived last night, and when she came downstairs to have coffee there it was beside her chair. She was so happy 😁 she said it was just like her old one she likes with the buttons.

Perfectly replaces the tiny black remote, with no number buttons to change channels or buttons to select other TV features, that came with the Samsung Smart TV purchased in year 2024. Can't imagine why Samsung is even providing such a small not user friendly remote with a brand-new TV. Channel searching is by scrolling with a small up/down bar on remote which takes too long and is cumbersome for guys with larger fingers - very frustrating and lots of swearing. I searched for a replacement remote and stumbled on this one at Walmart which is exact same remote we have for another older Samsung Smart TV. Delivery from a local Walmart was same day I ordered it - outstanding! After putting in the batteries I pointed at my TV, it turned on, and it works perfectly - no programming or syncing with TV required. Husband now happy. If you detest the small black remote being provided now by Samsung with newer TV's I highly recommend you order this one to replace it.
