if you dont tighten it well it does kind of slide back down. But its a great product and worked very well for me all summer long.

Nice, compact gaff.
Telescoping action works smoothly and feels sturdy. Very handy for reaching things in the front of my truck bed without climbing into it, at the landfill. I expect it would also be handy for fishing as well.

Nice and lightweight. A little bigger than expected when fully collapsed. Strap to the outside vs store inside a pack. I wish the threaded collar to tighten the gaff when extended was better quality. The plastic feel doesn't give me much confidence.
