San Luis Sourdough Plain Bread, 32 oz, Pre-sliced Sourdough Bread, Bag

This sourdough bread is so good we have bought it before and we just bought more. So you know it's good when you keep buying it. It's really good with butter on it and boiled and eat it with homemade soup or anything you make for dinner or breakfast or a grilled sandwich. 😋😋 I'm making myself hungry. Lol. ❤️

This is a massive loaf of bread LOL, 2 lb and very long. This is the first time buying this size loaf I usually buy the round ones and they're all really delicious. I like this type of sourdough because it's not too sourdoughish he's just right there in the middle, and when you toast it it gets a really nice crunch on it.

San Luis sliced sourdough bread is good! It was substituted because Sacramento Baking Co. sourdough was out of stock. The San Luis is fairly good, but the slices are too small. I do recommend it. Thanks.

The taste and quality of San Luis sourdough bread is excellent. I prefer having the uniformly cut small slices as compared with the various slice sizes of round loaves.

It's unfortunately not the crisp crust that I grew up loving, but apparently you just can't get that where I now live. For a soft loaf, it's quite good. The sourdough flavor is evident. The slice size is perfect for toast or a grilled cheese sandwich. I seldom make it through an entire loaf unscathed, so I generally freeze the balance after about a week. (More or less a couple days after that and the bread begins to mold.) Frozen is still perfectly fine for a nice piece of toast with butter and/or preserves. As for the people complaining that there are sometimes holes in the slices, it's gonna happen sometimes unless you're willing to eat balloon bread!

This bread is the only sourdough that comes in manageable sized slices. However, it always tastes incredibly dry and stale. Their huge slices variety doesn't taste this way, but is way too large for any sandwiches.

I ordered online a loaf of San Luis Sourdough Plain Bread together with several other items on Friday, June 6th, and by Monday, June 9th, the bread was moldy all over. Please advise/instruct the personal shoppers not to pick for customers items that are about to expire, not good to the touch, and don't look right. I went online to complain. I was advised not to return the item anymore, and Walmart will refund it. Next time, I will remember to take a picture first before throwing it in the trash bin (sorry, I don't want to go through the green recycle bin) , but I hope there is no "next time". Anyway, I am STILL WAITING for the amount of $5.54 to be credited back to my credit card. In general, I'm very satisfied with Walmart online shopping. Thank you.

Bread is a good brand. We like. This loaf when I brought home and putting away today I see mold on it. I would like credit. I do not wish to re purchase

Dry and stale. Bread was lumpy abd overly long and miss shapen. The package was loosely closed. Date said it should be good still for over a week. It was old and stale hard to chew.
