Best bread for eating eggs

Very good sourdough bread. I've purchased it about 30 times, and it's great for sandwiches or toast. Today I had an end piece that was unusually thick because of the natural variation in slice sizes. At first I thought it was a bad thing, but it actually turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The slice still fit in my toaster, and it developed a crispy outer crust while the inside stayed soft. I added butter on top, and it melted into the center like a little bowl, making the entire piece taste rich and evenly coated. I also sprinkled grated Parmesan cheese on top. It reminded me of the restaurant-style bread that's served warm. It also seems to last weeks when I keep it in the fridge. The cold temperature does change toasting time, so I toast it on a higher setting.

San Luis Sourdough is so good. It reminds me of childhood, so I associate it with coziness. An extra bonus is it has some health benefits when compared to regular bread. When I get a loaf that's on the dry side, a simple solution is to put it in the toaster. A little strawberry jelly and dab of butter makes it delicious. It's on the expensive side, but Walmart has it at a fair price.

Good bread. My staple. My go to. Great for Sandwiches %26 Breakfast. It is a Slightly firm sourdough bread. Freezes well for long term storage %26 immediate use / toasting after freezing. Can be toasted immediately after being in the freezer with a Great Outcome , Flavor %26 texture.

San Luis Sourdough is our family's favorite. The crust has just the right bite to it and the bread is free of additives we don't want. It is slightly tangy and is equally good toasted or untoasted. Great for rustic sandwiches.

So happy I found this bread, so fresh so tasty. !!! really adds to a sandwich, and a piece of toast is not just a piece of toast anymore. 😆 The big slices can be cut in half and used as a whole sandwich made from one piece of bread. Clean, simple ingredients very well appreciated and recommended

I do not like to eat this bread unless it is toasted. I cut it in half, put it in the freezer and take out pieces as needed. It is especially good for grilled cheese sandwiches and BLTs ‘s. It does not taste like San Francisco sourdough but it’s a good substitute.

I have tried three loaves in as many months but no more. This gets two stars because it is "bread". But it's dry, slices are way too thick, and very weak if any sourdough taste.

Bread wasn’t even expired and it had mold all over.
