San Marcos Peppers Chipolte, 7.5 Oz

I forgot which brand I usually buy and bought a different brand, and, boy, was I surprised. We ended up throwing the other can of chipotles out. Then I ordered San Marcos, and YES, that was the flavor I had been expecting. The sauce is also nice and thick, and it has lots of peppers.

San Marcos is my preferred Chipotles in Adobe Sauce because (1) in my experience, they are not as spicy (hot) as some of the others and, (2) they don't contain chopped onions. These chipotles make an awesome Chipotle Salsa (one 7.5 oz. can of San Marcos Chipotles and one 15oz can of Petite Diced Tomatoes - nothing else).

I love chipotle peppers in adobe sauce. Many good brands, this is a very good brand and the cheapest one.I found I wish they were all cheaper. It's quite cumbersome to make your own.So this is a must have in your pantry. Drop some of this in your pot of black beans. it's great to puree, the entire can, and put some of that in your black beans

These taste like my grandpas house growing up. I love chipotles and they're my favorite chile. They're Smokey, rich in flavor and very spicy. I don't ever go through one whole can in one meal. I use one chile and portion the others in a plastic zip bag and put them in my freezer. I have learned to just make enough food with these chipotles because they're too spicy for my husband and it's overwhelming for him to eat it. My favorite use is in chicken tinga or blended up with crema and dressed on top of tacos.

I love this stuff so much, i made my friend buy some. He never would have otherwise, so I passed on the addiction. Awesome!! Pop the easy open lid, scrape off the lil sauce that's still on it, give it a taste and let the flavor sink in. It's smoky, it's spicy, it's a power punch of a flavor in all of the right ways. A proper chef always tastes as they go when creating a new dish, lol.. It's a fun flavor and so tasty, the peppers are magic. Enjoy!

I've tried all brands of chipotle peppers in Adobe sauce, this is by far is the best in flavor and heat.

Excellent product! Not too spicy. Made a great marinade and sauce for chicken breasts and thighs. Arrived promptly on the date indicated. Top notch service! will definitely order again.

The can arrived completely damaged. Not sure if the shopper picked it out like that or if it happened during delivery

What the product photos DON'T show is the prop 65 warning on the can! Why is the US selling food with lead level acceptable or not? I don't need extra lead in my diet and neither does anyone else!
